Supreme Court Sittings 1968
We, three of the Judges of the Supreme Court of New
Zealand, in pursuance of the powers vested in us by the
Judicature Act 1908, hereby appoint that during the year
1968 sittings of the Supreme Court for the dispatch of civil
and criminal business will be held at the Supreme Court
Houses in the following places:
AUCKLAND
Criminal Trials: As from 5 February, the Court will sit
each week commencing on Monday.
Civil Actions before Judge and Jury: The Court will sit
during the weeks commencing—
5, 12 and 19 February 5, 12 and 19 August
4, 11 and 18 March 2, 9 and 16 September
1, 8 and 22 April 7, 14 and 21 October
6, 13 and 20 May 4, 11 and 18 November
4, 10 and 17 June 2 and 9 December
1, 8 and 15 July
and at such other times as may be required.
All Other Classes of Business: The Court will sit each day.
WELLINGTON
Criminal Trials: The Court will sit during the weeks
commencing—
5, 12 and 19 February 15, 22 and 29 July
29 April 30 September
6 and 13 May 7 and 14 October
and at such other times as may be required.
Civil Actions before Judge and Jury: The Court will sit
during the weeks commencing—
26 February 5 August
1 April 16 September

and at such other times as may be required.
All Other Classes of Business: The Court will sit each day.
CHRISTCHURCH
Criminal Trials: The Court will sit during periods
commencing:
5 February 22 July
29 April 7 October
and at such other times as may be required.
Civil Actions before Judge and Jury: The Court will sit
during periods commencing:
4 March 19 August
20 May 16 September
10 June 4 November
and at such other times as may be required.
All Other Classes of Business: The Court will sit on such
days as may be required.
DUNEDIN
Criminal Trials and Civil Actions before Judge and Jury:

and at such other times as may be required.
All Other Classes of Business: The Court will sit on such
days as may be required.

- Sittings will commence at 10 a.m. daily during the periods
above stated (except on public holidays and during vacations). - Fixtures for all business will be allocated by the Registrar
in accordance with the rules and administrative directions
of the Court.

Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities
Pursuant to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities
Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant
Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to
the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance,
hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities
mentioned in the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of
the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.
