Declaring Land in Nelson Land District, Vested in the Nelson Education Board as a Site for a Public School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Nelson Education Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.


SCHEDULE

NELSON LAND DISTRICT—WAIMEA COUNTY

SECTION 9, Block V, Tutaki Survey District: Area, 1 acre, more or less. S.O. Plan 4128.

PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL those pieces of road situated in Blocks XI and XIV, Waitaki Survey District, Canterbury R.D., described as follows:

(2) Stops the said road.

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the service lane described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Manukau and be under the control and management of the Manukau City Council.

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council of 5 July 1967, published in the Gazette of 13 July 1967, page 1195, vesting reclaimed land at Tamaki River, Auckland, in the Mt. Wellington Borough Council, by deleting the expression “1 acre and 35 perches” in the Schedule to the Order and substituting therefor the expression “1 acre 1 rood 35 perches.”
