to the point of commencement; and including all wharves and other extensions seaward.

HASTINGS

All that area bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the middle lines of
Kenilworth Road and the No. 2 State Highway in Block XVI, Heretaunga Survey
District, and proceeding south-westerly along the middle of that highway to a point
in line with the north-eastern side of Collinge Road, to and south-easterly along that
roadside to the north-western corner of Lot 1, D.P. 2986, south-westerly along a right line
at right angles to the said roadside for a distance of 50 links, and south-easterly along
a right line to and along the south-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 7594 to the north-
western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 1656; thence generally south-westerly along that bound-
ary and the north-western boundary of Lot 60, D.P. 906, crossing the intervening Beatty
Street and Grove Road, along the south-western boundary of Lot 60 aforesaid, along
the north-western boundary of Lot 39, D.P. 3146, along the southern boundary of Lot 23,
D.P. 9854, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of Ada
Street; thence generally south-easterly along the middle of Ada Street, St. Georges
Road, and Crosses Road to the middle of the old bed of the Ngaruroro River; thence
north-easterly down the middle of that river, to and up the middle of the Karitu-
whenua Creek to a point in line with the south-western boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 1956;
thence south-easterly to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of
Brookvale Road, and north-easterly along the middle of that road to a point in line with
the south-western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 7965; thence generally south-easterly to and
