State Housing Land Set Apart for the Purposes of the Maori Housing Act 1935

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 2 of the Maori Housing Amendment Act 1938, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the State housing land, within the meaning of the Housing Act 1955, described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart for the purposes of the Maori Housing Act 1935.

0 0 37.1 Lot 88 on Deposited Plan 49381, and being part of Allotment 5, Parish of Manurewa, which said piece of land is part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title 1d/1187 (North Auckland Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 7th day of September 1967.

Declaring Land to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

Altering the Boundaries of the Hawke’s Bay, King Country, and Wairoa Electric Power Districts

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby alter the boundaries of the Hawke’s Bay, King Country, and Wairoa Electric Power Districts, by excluding the areas described in the First and Second Schedules hereto from the King Country and Wairoa Electric Power Districts respectively, and by including those areas in the Hawke’s Bay Electric Power District; and, further, I hereby declare that the boundaries of the Hawke’s Bay, King Country, and Wairoa Electric Power Districts shall be those described in the Third, Fourth, and Fifth Schedules hereto respectively.
FIRST SCHEDULE

All that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Hawke’s Bay County, situated in Blocks IX, X, XI, and XII, Tarawera Survey District, containing 11 square miles approximately, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the southern boundary of Block X, Tarawera Survey District and a tributary of the Toropapa Stream, approximately 10 chains eastwards from the western boundary of the said Block X, as shown on M.L. Plan 1404, and proceeding north-easterly down that tributary to the south-western boundary of Tarawera 10A; thence north-westerly and easterly generally along the south-western, north-western, and north-eastern boundaries of Tarawera 10A, including the crossing of the Omarowa Roadway; to and along the north-eastern boundary of Tarawera No. 8, to and along the north-western side of the Kowaro Roadway and the north-western side of the Old Taupo Road to a point in line with the southern side of a roadway in Tarawera 5A; to and along the southern side of that roadway and its production to the middle of the Waipunga River; down the middle of the Waipunga River to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 5, Block IV, Pohue Survey District; thence south-westerly to and along that boundary to the southern boundary of the Tarawera Survey District; thence westerly along that southern boundary to the point of commencement.

All that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Hawke’s Bay County, situated in Block XII, Tarawera Survey District, and Blocks IV and XIII, Waitara Survey District, containing 1 square mile approximately, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Waipunga River in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 5, Block IV, Pohue Survey District, and proceeding down the middle of the Waipunga River to the middle of the Mohaka River; thence up the middle of the Mohaka River to the eastern boundary of Block IV, Pohue Survey District; thence northerly and westerly along the eastern and northern boundaries of Block IV, to the south-eastern boundary of Section 5, Block IV, Pohue Survey District; thence north-easterly along that boundary and its production to the point of commencement.
As the said areas are shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 703 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.
