SYSTEM OF SUPPLY
- The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (d) of regulation 21-01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and shall be an alternating current system.
DURATION OF LICENCE
- Unless sooner lawfully determined this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1988 or until a supply of electricity is available from an electric power board or other public source of supply, whichever is the earlier.
SCHEDULE
LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described commencing from the Consumers Co-op Society generator and proceeding in a northerly direction to and under the Wairoa-Rotorua Main Highway thence in an easterly direction to the licensee’s residence.
All being situated in Sections 2 and 14, Block IX, Ruatahuna Township Survey District, the said lines being more particularly shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 715, deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

Authorising Gillespie Enterprises Ltd. to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines on Rangitoto Island

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises Gillespie Enterprises Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electrical lines described in the Schedules hereto.
CONDITIONS
IMPLIED CONDITIONS
- The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.
LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS
- This licence is issued under the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, and is subject thereto, and to the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and to all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.

LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensee’s promenade generator and proceeding:
(a) In a southerly direction to the caretaker’s kiosk:
(b) In a northerly direction to dressing sheds on the foreshore and thence in an easterly direction to a pole on the promenade thence—
(i) In a southerly direction along the promenade to and along a wharf;
(ii) In a northerly direction along the promenade, thence to a hut used by the St. John Ambulance Brigade with branch lines proceeding in an easterly direction generally to two buildings.
All being situated in Block VII, Rangitoto Survey District, the said lines being more particularly shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 599 [Schedule (a)] deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.
SCHEDULE B
LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensee’s Islington Bay generator and proceeding in a south-easterly direction across a track to a pole and from there in a south-westerly direction to and along the Islington Bay jetty.
All being situated in Block V, Rangitoto Survey District, the said lines being more particularly shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 599 [Schedule (B)] deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.
