RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Streets Loan 1965, $40,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $40,000, authorised to be raised by the Tauranga City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for constructing roads, accesses, and improving roads within the city, the said Tauranga City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought one six nine cents (.0169c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Tauranga, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 15th day of September in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Airport Terminal Building Loan 1967, $12,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $12,000, authorised to be raised by the Tauranga City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the construction of a terminal building and associated roading and parking facilities at the Tauranga Airport, the said Tauranga City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought nought five one cents (.0051c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Tauranga, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 15th day of March and September in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAIPUKURAU BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Waterworks Improvements Loan 1967, $152,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waipukurau Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the principal and interest repayments on the Waipukurau Borough Waterworks Improvements Loan 1967, $152,000, authorised to be raised by the Waipukurau Borough Council for the purpose of carrying out improvements to the Borough Water Supply by installation of larger water mains, erection of new pump house and ancillary works, new well and treatment plant, the Waipukurau Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal six two five cents (.625c) in the dollar on all rateable property in the Borough of Waipukurau, on the basis of the unimproved value, such special rate to be an annually recurring rate for a term of 25 years or until the loan is fully repaid.

WAITARA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waitara Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $23,600, authorised to be raised by the Waitara Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of erecting accommodation for old people, the said Waitara Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought five seven eight of a cent in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Waitara, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 40 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

BOROUGH OF MARTINBOROUGH

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Martinborough Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $67,600, authorised to be raised by the Martinborough Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Martinborough Borough Council Water Supply Loan 1955, $130,000, which matures on the 1st day of September 1967, the said Martinborough Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of two and three-tenths cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Martinborough (upon the basis of the unimproved value), and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 15th day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Waterworks Loan 1967, $280,000

Certified copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Auckland City Council held on the 23rd day of August 1967.

That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of two hundred and eighty thousand dollars ($280,000), to be known as the Waterworks Loan 1967, $280,000, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of providing new water reticulation and upgrading the existing reticulation system and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of point one four six five of a cent (.1465c) in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of Auckland City comprising the whole of the City of Auckland, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, or until the loan is fully paid off.
