Matakana Island Development Scheme Amending Notice 1967, No. 1

WHEREAS, by virtue of the notice described in the First Schedule hereto, the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is now subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, and it is desired to vary the same.
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Matakana Island Development Scheme Amending Notice 1967, No. 1.
  2. The notice described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.
  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Amuri, Awatere and Marlborough Counties—Alteration of Boundaries

PURSUANT to section 36 (2) of the Local Government Commission Act 1961, it is hereby notified that the Local Government Appeal Authority has fixed 10.30 a.m., on Thursday, 26 October 1967, as the time, and the Magistrate’s Court, Seymour Street, Blenheim, as the place for the hearing of the appeal by Amuri County Council from the final scheme of the Local Government Commission, dated 21 November 1966, providing for the alteration of boundaries between Amuri, Awatere, and Marlborough Counties.

Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954—Proposed Cancellation of Registration of Industrial Union

PURSUANT to section 85 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954, it is hereby notified that the registration of the Otago and Southland Lime and Cement Employees Industrial Union of Workers, Registered No. 1176, situated at 245 Moray Place, Dunedin, will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled on the expiration of six weeks from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto, of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.
