PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.


SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that portion of Kaahu Road situated in Block III, Marotiri Survey District, and Block XI and XV, Whakamaru Survey District, Taupo County, commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section 31, Block III, Marotiri Survey District, thence proceeding in a generally north-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 660 chains and terminating at the north-eastern corner of Section 5, Block XI, Whakamaru Survey District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plans marked M.O.W. 21535 (S.O. 42518), M.O.W. 21533 (S.O. 42509), M.O.W. 21534 (S.O. 42510), M.O.W. 21532 (S.O. 42508), M.O.W. 21531 (S.O. 42507), and M.O.W. 21530 (S.O. 42506), deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked B-C, C-D, D-E, E-F, F-G, and G-H respectively.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 18th day of September 1967

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1961, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:


ORDER

  1. This order shall take effect on 1 October 1967.
  2. The area described in the Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the Nelson Harbour District and included in the Marlborough Harbour District.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Sounds Division of the Marlborough County, bounded by a line commencing at the summit of North Castor Peak in the southern boundary of Block VIII, Whangamoa Survey District, and proceeding northerly along a right line to the sea coast at Pukerau Point; thence generally easterly along the sea coast to a point on the south-eastern coast of Whakitenga Bay, Croisilles Harbour, due west of the westernmost point of the sea coast of Elaine Bay; thence due east to that point; thence generally easterly along the southern sea coast of Elaine Bay to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 2, Block VII, Whangamoa Survey District; thence south-westerly to and along that boundary and the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 6 and 8, Block VII aforesaid, to Trig. Station Y (Boundary Trig.); thence generally south-westerly along the summit of the range being also the southern boundary of Whangamoa Survey District, and passing through Mt. McLaren, Matapehe, Editor Peak, Elliot Peak, Bare Knob, and Teranga, to North Castor Peak, the point of commencement.
