MOUNT ALBERT BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Notice of Application for Consent to Specified Departure
NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by
George McLay Watson, of Mount Albert, for consent to a
specified departure from the operative district scheme of the
Borough of Mount Albert, in that the applicant wishes the
below-described land to be utilised for the purposes of
erecting thereon and operating therefrom a petrol station and
lubritorium.
The property is situated at No. 4 Asquith Avenue, Mount
Albert, and is located in the Residential B Zone.
The legal description of the land is all that piece of land
containing 17.5 perches, more or less, being Lot 1, on a
Scheme Plan of Subdivision No. S. 4084, and being part of
Allotment 34 of the Parish of Titirangi and being part of the
land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume
534, folio 136, North Auckland Registry.
The application and a copy of the said scheme plan of
subdivision may be examined at the office of the Mount Albert
Borough Council, 615 New North Road, Mount Albert, during
normal office hours and any person or body affected may
object to the application by notice in writing, delivered to
the Town Clerk, Mount Albert Borough Council, P.O. Box
8575, Upper Symonds Street, Auckland, not later than 4 p.m.,
on the 5th day of October 1967.
Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection and
whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in
support of his objection.

SPECIAL ORDER
THE Auckland Regional Authority, in exercise of the powers
vested in it by the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963,
sections 40 and 41, and in pursuance of the authority conferred
upon it under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and in
exercise of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, doth
hereby resolve by special resolution intended to operate as a
special order, to borrow the sum of $150,000 as a special loan
to be known as Airport Loan No. 1, 1964, $5,000,000, 4th
Issue $150,000, for the purpose of meeting the Authority's
share of capital expenditure at the Auckland International
Airport and other miscellaneous capital costs to 31 March
1968.
The foregoing special order was made by way of special
resolution passed at a special meeting of the Authority held
on the 17th day of July 1967. It was publicly notified in the
Auckland Star on the 24th day of July 1967 and the 7th day
of August 1967 and confirmed at the ordinary meeting of the
Authority held on the 21st day of August 1967.
The common seal of the Auckland Regional Authority was
hereunto affixed this 21st day of August 1967.

AUCKLAND REGIONAL AUTHORITY
SPECIAL ORDER
THE Auckland Regional Authority, in exercise of the powers
vested in it by the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963,
sections 45 and 24, and in pursuance of the authority con-
ferred upon it under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956,
and in exercise of all other powers enabling it in that behalf,
doth hereby resolve by special resolution intended to operate
as a special order, to borrow the sum of $240,000 (two
hundred and forty thousand dollars) as a special loan to be
known as Property Loan No. 2, 1965, $614,000, 2nd Issue
$240,000, for the purpose of providing sufficient loan finance
to cover progress construction costs, architects fees, and other
incidental expenses in connection with the Authority's new
building in Wellesley Street West, Auckland.
The foregoing special order was made by way of special
resolution passed at a special meeting of the Authority held
on the 17th day of July 1967. It was publicly notified in the
Auckland Star on the 24th day of July 1967 and the 7th day
of August 1967 and confirmed at the ordinary meeting of the
Authority held on the 21st day of August 1967.

section 43, and the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960,
and in pursuance of the authority conferred upon it under
the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and in exercise of all
other powers and authorities enabling it in that behalf, doth
hereby resolve by special resolution intended to operate as a
special order, to borrow the sum of $600,000 as a special loan
to be known as Drainage Loan No. 39, 1964, $2,500,000, 5th
Issue $600,000, for the purpose of meeting costs and expenses
and carrying out works incidental to the first and second stages
of the Manukau Drainage Scheme and also new works giving
service to the inner area of the Auckland Metropolitan
Drainage District.
The foregoing special order was made by way of a special
resolution passed at a special meeting of the Authority held on
the 17th day of July 1967. It was publicly notified in the
Auckland Star on the 24th day of July 1967 and the 7th day
of August 1967 and confirmed at the ordinary meeting of the
Authority held on the 21st day of August 1967.

APPLICATION FOR WATER RACE
THE Waitaki County Council gives notice that it has applied
to the Warden's Court at Oamaru for a water race licence to
take 1/50th of a head of water in alkathene pipelines varying
from 2Β½ in. down to Β½ in. in diameter starting at peg marked
"Domet 1" in the bed of Sandstone Creek, 10 chains south-
west of the boundary of Run 28A (L. A. Smith) to peg marked
"7" terminal point in road boundary of Section 2, Block II,
Kurow Survey District.
The application will be heard at the Warden's Court at
Oamaru at 10.30 a.m., on Wednesday, the 4th day of October
1967, and all objections to the application must be filed in the
said Court and served on the applicant three clear days prior
to the hearing.
The address for service of the applicant is at the offices of
Hislop and Creagh and Main, 76 Thames Street, Oamaru.
