NORTHLAND HARBOUR BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Northland Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $126,000, authorised to be raised by the Whangarei
Harbour Board under the above-mentioned Act, and in terms
of the Whangarei Harbour Board Vesting and Empowering
Act 1961, for harbour works and other purposes, the North-
land Harbour Board hereby makes a special rate of 0.03702
of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value of all rateable
property in the Whangarei Harbour District. That the special
rate should be an annual-recurring rate during the currency
of the loan and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March
in each and every year during the currency of the loan,
being a period of 19 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The foregoing resolution was passed at the ordinary
meeting of the Northland Harbour Board held on the 10th
day of July 1967.

WAIPARA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Water Supply No. 1 Extension Loan 1967 of $40,000
“THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Waipara County Council hereby resolves, that, for the purpose
of providing annual loan charges on a loan of $40,000, to be
known as the Rural Water Supply No. 1 Extension Loan 1967
of $40,000, authorised to be raised by the Waipara County
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
meeting part of the costs involved with extensions to the No. 1
Rural Water Supply Scheme and incidental expenses in con-
nection therewith, the said Waipara County Council hereby
makes a special rate of decimal point nought one six six
(.0166c) of a cent in the dollar on the capital value of all
rateable property in the Waipara County, and that the special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of
the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each
and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Housing Loan 1967 of $8,000
NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution was
passed at a meeting of the Pukekohe Borough Council held
on the 6th day of September 1967:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Pukekohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $8,000, authorised to be raised by the Pukekohe
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of erecting a staff house, the said Pukekohe Borough
Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought
nine (.009) cents in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value on
the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property
in the Borough of Pukekohe, and that the special rate be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be
payable half-yearly on the 1st day of November and the 1st
day of May in each and every year during the currency of
the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.”

TARARUA ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Tararua Electric-Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the principal interest
and other charges on a loan of $36,800, to be known as
Redemption Loan 1967, authorised to be raised by the Tararua
Electric-Power Board in New Zealand by “Consent” under
the above-mentioned Act, and of all other Acts and authorities
it thereunto enabling, for the purpose of repaying at maturity
those portions of the Reticulation Loan 1957 of £32,000
maturing on the 20th day of December 1967 and the 1st day
of March 1967 respectively, the said Tararua Electric-Power
Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.0545 (five
hundred and forty-five ten thousandths) of a cent in the $
upon the rateable value, on the basis of unimproved value, of
all the rateable property in the Tararua Electric-Power District,
as defined in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 31, of the 22nd
day of May 1958, at pages 652 and 653, and that such special
rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency
of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of Decem-
ber in each and every year during the currency of such loan,
being a period of ten (10) years or until the loan is fully paid
off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy
of a resolution adopted by the Tararua Electric-Power Board
at its ordinary meeting held on the 25th day of August 1967.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Streets and Footpaths Loan 1967, $150,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Henderson Borough Council held on the 5th day of September
1967:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Henderson Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
the loan of $150,000, authorised to be raised by the Henderson
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of improving streets and footpaths, the said Henderson
Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal two
eight cents in the dollar (0.28c in the $1) on the rateable
unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough
of Henderson, and that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable
yearly on the first day of June in each and every year during
the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or
until the loan is fully paid off, and that such special rate is hereby
permanently appropriated and pledged as security for the pur-
pose of securing the said loan of $150,000 and interest thereon
at a rate not exceeding five and three-quarters percent (5¾%)
per annum.”

Notice of Application for Consent to Change of Use
NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by the
Trust Board of the Brothers of the Christian Schools in
New Zealand for consent to the use of the under-mentioned
land for the purposes of an educational and residential and
charitable institution.
The property is on the southern side of Otuarangi Road,
Mangere, and is located in the Rural A Zone.
The legal description of the land is all that piece of land
containing 5 acres and 11.9 perches, being Lot 1, on deposited
plan 47751, and all the land in certificate of title, Volume 6c,
folio 917, North Auckland Registry.
The application may be examined at the office of the Manu-
kau City Council, David Nathan Park, Hill Road, Manurewa,
during normal office hours and any person or body affected
may object to the application by notice in writing delivered
to the City Manager, Manukau City Council, at the Council’s
said address not later than 4 p.m., on 16 October 1967.
Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection and
whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in
support of his objection.
