Boundaries of the County of Vincent and the Borough of Alexandra Altered

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1961, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:

ORDER

1. This order shall take effect on 1 October 1967.
2. The area described in the Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the County of Vincent and included in the Borough of Alexandra.
3. The alteration of the boundaries of the said county and the said borough hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.

SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Vincent County, Dunstan Riding, containing 2 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost corner of Section 88, Block VII, Leaning Rock Survey District, and proceeding north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of that section to the south-western side of No. 8 State Highway; thence south-easterly along a right line to a point on the north-western boundary of the Alexandra Town Belt Domain on the south-western side of No. 8 State Highway; thence south-westerly along the north-western boundary of the Alexandra Town Belt Domain and its production to the easternmost corner of Section 84, Block VII, Leaning Rock Survey District; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of that section to the point of commencement.
