purpose of building a new wharf at Kawhia, the said Otorohanga County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.236313 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Kawhia County Town District of the County of Otorohanga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Otorohanga County Council held on the 18th day of August 1967.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Bridges Loan No. 1, 1967—$42,500

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Otorohanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $42,500, authorised to be raised by the Otorohanga County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of meeting the Council’s share of the cost of renewing bridges on roads within the County excluding the Kawhia North Riding, the said Otorohanga County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.040427 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Otorohanga excluding the Kawhia North Riding; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Otorohanga County Council held on the 18th day of August 1967.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Otorohanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $100,000, authorised to be raised by the Otorohanga County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Otorohanga County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.061322 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Otorohanga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

ELLESMERE COUNTY COUNCIL


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Rural Housing Loan No. 2, 1967—$20,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Ellesmere County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $20,000, authorised to be raised by the Ellesmere County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Ellesmere County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought four two cents (.0042c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the County of Ellesmere, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Ellesmere County Council on the 21st day of August 1967.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Pensioner Flats Additional Loan 1967, £1,345

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Thames Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £1,345, authorised to be raised by the Thames Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of recouping the district fund account, the said Thames Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.013623d. in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Thames; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Pensioners’ Cottages (Torlesse Street) Loan 1964, £69,500

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and its amendments and all other powers it in that behalf enabling, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £69,500 ($139,000), authorised to be raised by the Christchurch City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for old people, hereby makes a special rate of fifty-one two thousand five hundredths (51⁄2,500d.) in the pound ($.000085) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property comprised within the City of Christchurch, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The Christchurch City Council, at a meeting held on the 21st day of August 1967, passed the above resolution.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Rural Housing Loan 1967, £6,000 ($12,000)

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Clifton County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £6,000 ($12,000), authorised to be raised by the Clifton County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the making of advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Clifton County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought six two nine five pence (.06295d.) in the pound or 0.02623c in the dollar upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the County of Clifton, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 11th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
