Declaring Land Taken in the Borough of Matamata for Street,
for a Service Lane, for a Parking Place, and for the Proper
Development and Use Thereof in Accordance with the
Operative District Scheme of the Borough of Matamata

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works hereby declares that, sufficient agreements
to that effect having been entered into, the land described in
the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street, that the
land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for a service lane, that the land described in the Third
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a parking place, and that
the land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto is hereby
taken, in accordance with section 47 of the Town and
Country Planning Act 1953, for the provision of commercial
and industrial sites in the locality, by the subdivision and sale
of the parcel of land, such purpose being the proper develop-
ment and use of the said parcels of land in accordance with
the Operative District Scheme of the Borough of Matamata;
and also hereby declares that the land described in the said
First, Second, Third, and Fourth Schedules shall vest in the
Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Mata-
mata from and after the 28th day of August 1967.
