Declaring Land, and Easements Over Land, Taken for Waterworks in Block X and XI, Rangitoto Survey District, Rangitikei County

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares that, sufficient agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for waterworks, and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Rangitikei as from the date hereinafter mentioned, and further declares that an easement is hereby taken over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, vesting as from the date hereinafter mentioned, in the said body corporate full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, inspect, cleanse, repair, renew, and maintain lines of water pipes under, along, and across the said land in terms of the provisions contained in paragraphs 2 and 5 of the Seventh Schedule to the Land Transfer Act 1952; and also declares that an easement is hereby taken over the land described in the Third Schedule hereto, vesting as from the date hereinafter mentioned, in the said body corporate full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to construct and use a right of way, with the right for the servants, agents, workmen, licensees, and invitees of the said body corporate from time to time and at all times hereinafter to go, pass, and repass, with or without horses or other animals or vehicles over the said land, and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right of way for the purpose of providing access to the land described in the said First Schedule, such easements to be held appurtenant thereto, from and after the 28th day of August 1967.
