Cancellation of Vesting in the Christchurch City Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch, and revokes the reservation over that part of the reserve for recreation purposes described in the Schedule hereto.

Change of the Purpose of a Reserve to Scenic Purposes and Addition of the Reserve to the Nydia Bay Scenic Reserve

———

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for sounds foreshore purposes to a reserve for scenic purposes, and further, declares the said reserve to form part of the Nydia Bay Scenic Reserve to be administered as a scenic reserve by the Pelorus and Kenepuru Sounds Reserves Board.

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Green Island Borough Council

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for recreation, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Green Island, in trust, for that purpose.

WHEREAS, by virtue of the notices described in the First Schedule hereto, the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is now subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953:

And, whereas, by reason of an amalgamation of titles the land is now known by the description shown in the Third Schedule, and it is considered necessary to have the notices described in the First Schedule hereto replaced:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be described as the Opunake Development Scheme Amending Notice 1967, No. 1.

  2. The notices referred to in the First Schedule hereto are hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

  3. The land described in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
