The Edgecumbe College Board of Governors Order 1967

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 26th day of July 1967
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to sections 50 and 51 of the Education Act 1964, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Edgecumbe College Board of Governors Order 1967.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1968. - The Board of Governors of Edgecumbe College shall be constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the South Auckland Education Board;
(b) Eight members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school:
(c) One member co-opted by the Board of Governors itself, if and when it thinks fit. - The Edgecumbe Post-Primary School Board of Governors Order 1961* is hereby revoked.

The Masterton Secondary Schools Board of Governors Order 1967

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to sections 50 and 51 of the Education Act 1964, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Masterton Secondary Schools Board of Governors Order 1967.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1969. - The Board of Governors for the control of Wairarapa College and Makora College, formerly known as the Wairarapa College Board and now known as the Masterton Secondary Schools Board, shall be constituted as follows:
(a) One member to be appointed by the Wellington Education Board;
(b) Three members to be elected by the parents of the pupils attending Wairarapa College;
(c) Three members to be elected by the parents of the pupils attending Makora College;
(d) One member to be appointed by the Masterton Borough Council;
(e) One member to be appointed by the Masterton County Council;
(f) One member to be appointed by the Masterton Trust Lands Trust;
(g) One member to be co-opted by the Board itself if and when it thinks fit. - The Wairarapa College Board of Governors Order 1967* is hereby revoked.

The Porirua East Secondary School Board of Governors Order 1967
BERNARD FERGUSSON, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 26th day of July 1967
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 51 of the Education Act 1964, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- This order may be cited as the Porirua East Secondary School Board of Governors Order 1967.
- The Board of Governors of Porirua East Secondary School shall be constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the Wellington Education Board;
(b) Five members elected by the parents of the pupils attending the school:
Provided that, until the school is opened and the election of such members is held, the Minister of Education may appoint four persons to be members of the Board and to hold office until the members elected by the parents of the pupils are able to assume office;
(c) One member elected by the members of the school committees of Cannons Creek State primary school, the Glenview State primary school, the Maraeroa State primary school, the Porirua East State primary school, the Russell State primary school, the Tahora State primary school, and the Windley State primary school;
(d) One member appointed by the Porirua City Council;
(e) One member co-opted by the Board itself if and when it thinks fit. - The Minister of Education may, from time to time, by notice in the Gazette, amend the list of schools to which paragraph (c) of clause 2 of this order applies.

Approving a Company for Securities Under the Administration Act 1952

PURSUANT to section 6 of the Administration Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby approves The Guardian Assurance Co. Ltd. as an incorporated company, the security of which may be accepted for the purposes of the said section in place of a bond.

Directing the Revision of District Valuation Rolls

At the Government House at Wellington this 26th day of July 1967

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the District Valuation Rolls for the districts enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be revised by the Valuer-General as at 1 August 1967.

Boroughs: Helensville, Kaiapoi, Foxton.

Appointment of Member of Land Valuation Committee
PURSUANT to section 19 of the Land Valuation Court Act 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General, has been pleased to appoint Hugh Hickling of Waerenga-o-kuri as a member of the Gisborne Land Valuation Committee, vice Mr I. F. Watt, J.P., resigned.
