A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964* to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964

PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 16 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provisions shall apply:

40 Miles an Hour Speed-Limit Area Declared

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice that the road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40 miles an hour speed-limit area for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

SITUATED within Pahiatua County at Mangatainoka:

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) (from Carisbrook Road to a point six chains measured northerly generally along the said highway from Ruawhata Road).

Declaring Land Taken for the Purposes of the Avondale-Onehunga-Southdown Railway in the Borough of Mount Roskill

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Avondale-Onehunga-Southdown Railway on and after the 31st day of July 1967.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Waitemata County Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waitemata, and revokes the reservation for sanitary purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Whangarei, and revokes the reservation over that part of the reserve for recreation purposes described in the Schedule hereto.
