Amending a Proclamation Proclaiming Land Taken for a Quarry in Block V, Waiwera Survey District, Waitemata County

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby amend the Proclamation dated 23 August 1966, and published in Gazette, 3 November 1966, No. 67, at page 1724, proclaiming land taken for a quarry in Block V, Waiwera Survey District, Waitemata County, by deleting from the Schedule thereto the words “Part Allotment 221” and substituting the words “Part Allotment 211”.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 422 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, and used as a roadway to be road.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block IX, Opuawhanga Survey District, Whangarei County, North Auckland R.D., described as follows:

Suspending the Provisions of the Tramways Act 1908, in Respect of a Tramway at Western Springs Operated by the Museum of Transport and Technology (Incorporated)

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 6 of the Tramways Amendment Act 1913, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, do hereby suspend the operation of (a) the Tramways Act 1908 and all amendments thereof with the exception of the Tramways Amendment Act 1913, and (b) the Tram-drivers Regulations 1947, in respect of the tramway situated at Western Springs, Auckland, operated by the Museum of Transport and Technology (Incorporated), provided that the Tramway Carriage Regulations 1947 and all amendments thereof shall continue in full force and effect as though the Tramways Act 1908 had not been suspended.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 11th day of July 1956, and published in the Gazette, 12 July 1956, Volume II, page 915, and deposited in the Land Registry office at Auckland, as No. 15068, defining the middle line of the Northcote-Albany Motorway in Block VIII, Waitemata Survey District, in so far as it affects Lot 1, D.P. 40294 (C.T. 1374/82), in the North Auckland Land District.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated 15 December 1953, and published in Gazette, 17 December 1953, Volume III, page 2019, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Hamilton as No. S. 62804, in so far as it affects the parcel of land containing 78 acres 2 roods 5 perches, being part Sections 26 and 32, Block IX, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District, part of the said Section 26 being also Lot 2 on D.P. S. 9255, and being all of the land comprised and described in certificate of title No. 4A/1300, South Auckland Land Registry.

PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Hawke’s Bay County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.
