and the City of Gisborne, and that such special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and
every year during the currency of such loan, being a period
of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

OTOROHANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Kio Kio Hall Loan 1966, £5,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Otorohanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £5,000, authorised to be raised by the Otorohanga
County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the
purpose of meeting part of the cost of erecting a new public
hall at Kio Kio, the said Otorohanga County Council hereby
makes a special rate of 0.278 pence in the pound on the
rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all
rateable property in the Kio Kio Hall special rating area
of the County of Otorohanga; and that the special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of
10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of a resolution passed by the Otorohanga County Council on
the 23rd day of June 1967.

to Part IV of the said Act, for variation of the trusts relating
to such fund (which scheme is dated 2 February 1967, and
is filed in the Office of the Supreme Court at Westport),
has been approved by the Attorney-General pursuant to
section 48 of the said Act.

1967, on the proposal of the Glen Eden Borough Council
to raise the sum of one hundred thousand pounds (£100,000),
for the purpose of constructing and reconstructing roads and
footpaths and upgrading the Borough water supply:

The number of votes recorded against the proposal
was ..... 380
The number of informal votes was ..... 2
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

resolution dated 26 June 1967, makes the following special
order:
“That, pursuant to section 108A of the Municipal Corpora-
tions Act 1954, the Petone Borough Council hereby makes
a consolidated special rate of one penny and three hundred
and fifty-three four-hundredths of a penny (1³⁵³/₄₀₀d.) in the
pound on the rateable value of all rateable property (on the
basis of the unimproved value) in the Borough of Petone,
such special rate to be an annually recurring rate to be levied
in whole or in part to meet the annual charges in respect of
