Cancellation of the Vesting in the Masterton County Council
and Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Coun-
cillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Masterton, and
further revokes the reservation for a metal reserve over the
land described in the Schedule hereto, such land to remain
subject to existing registered lease numbered 8225, Wellington
Registry.

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Gisborne City Council
PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands
hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto
as a reserve for drainage purposes, and further, pursuant to
the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve
in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of
Gisborne, in trust, for that purpose.

Notice Under Section 5 of the National Savings Act 1940
PURSUANT to section 5 of the National Savings Act 1940, the
Minister of Finance hereby authorises the Boards of Trustees
of the under-mentioned savings banks (being savings banks
established under the Trustee Savings Banks Act 1948) to
receive investments by way of deposits in investment accounts
under the said Act during the investment period commencing
on the 1st day of July 1967, and ending on the 30th day of
June 1968:
Auckland Savings Bank,
Taranaki Savings Bank,
Otago Savings Bank, and
Southland Savings Bank.

Notice Under Section 4 of the National Savings Act 1940
PURSUANT to section 4 of the National Savings Act 1940,
the Minister of Finance hereby prescribes as follows:
(a) The twenty-eighth investment period during which in-
vestments may be made in accordance with the said
Act, shall be the period of one year commencing on
the 1st day of July 1967, and ending on the 30th
day of June 1968;
(b) Subject to the provisions of the said Act, the rate of
interest to be paid on investments made in accor-
dance with the said Act during such investment
period shall be 3ยฝ percent per annum;
(c) Subject to the provisions of the said Act, moneys
invested in accordance with the said Act during
such investment period, shall be repayable on the
30th day of June 1970, provided that where interest
is not withdrawn by the investor in accordance with
section 8 (2) of the said Act, and is added to
and becomes part of the principal moneys of the
investor under section 8 (3) of the said Act, the
amount of such interest, together with any interest
thereon, shall be repayable on the 30th day of
June 1969.

Scheme Amending Notice 1967, No. 3. - The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is
hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described
in the Second Schedule hereto. - The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is
hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act
