September 1966, 22 October 1966, 1 December 1966, 1 February 1967, and 31 May 1967 respectively, the said Christchurch Drainage Board hereby makes special rates of £0.00002514, £0.00001272, £0.00002189, £0.000006841, £0.00001544, £0.000012759, £0.000014042, £0.000001781, £0.00001208 in the pound respectively, upon the capital rateable value of all rateable property within that part of the Christchurch Drainage District, described in Schedule C and in Schedule B (as altered from time to time in terms of section 5 (f) of the Christchurch District Drainage Amendment Act 1922, and section 60 (6) of the Christchurch District Drainage Act 1951), to a resolution of the Board dated the 17th day of April 1923, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 37, of the 26th day of April 1923, and that the special rates shall be annual-recurring rates during the currencies of the loans and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currencies of the loans, being periods of 29, 29, 25, 29, 29, 25, 25, 25, and 30 years respectively, or until the loans are fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Christchurch Drainage Board held on 23 May 1967.

CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGE BOARD


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Christchurch Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £10,000, authorised to be raised by the Christchurch Drainage Board for the purpose of repaying that portion of Drainage Loan No. 3, 1960 of £40,700, which matures on 31 May 1967, the said Christchurch Drainage Board hereby makes a special rate of £0.000003855 in the pound upon the capital rateable value of the Board’s land drainage area, as described by a resolution of the Board dated the 22nd day of May 1952, and as altered from time to time by resolutions of the Board under section 59 of the Christchurch District Drainage Act 1951, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Christchurch Drainage Board held on 23 May 1967.

WAIPORI RABBIT BOARD


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Housing Loan 1966, £5,000

THAT, in pursuance of the powers conferred upon it by the Rabbits Act 1955 and amendments thereto, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and every other power in that behalf enabling, the Waipori Rabbit Board resolved on the 4th day of August 1966, by way of special order to raise a special loan of £5,000, to be known as the Waipori Rabbit Board Housing Loan 1966, for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting a house thereon, or purchasing land and an existing house.

The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may be borrowed shall be 20 years.

The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lenders a rate or rates exceeding 5¼ percent per annum.

The said loan or any part thereof, together with interest thereon, shall be repaid by aggregate annual- or half-yearly instalments extending over the term as set for the above.

The security for the said loan shall be a special rate of decimal five six two pence per acre, on all rateable property in the Waipori Rabbit District.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Hanson Street Flats Loan No. 4, 1966 of £60,000

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 13th day of July 1966:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of sixty thousand pounds (£60,000), authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing flats at Hanson Street, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of eleven one-thousandths of a penny (.011d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of forty (40) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Notice of Application for Consent to Conditional Use

NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by Francis Gordon Craig, Andrew Hoskin, and Sydney McLean, all of Henderson, for consent to the renovation of and addition to church property of Jehovah’s Witnesses for which they are trustees. The property is situated at No. 271 Great North Road, Borough of Henderson, and is located in the residential A zone. The legal description of the land is Lot No. 1, Deposited Plan No. 45272, part Allotment 90, Parish of Waikomiti, all the land in certificate of title, Volume 1545, folio 55, North Auckland Registry.

The application may be examined at the office of the Henderson Borough Council, Thomas Street, during normal office hours and any person or body affected may object to the application by notice in writing, delivered to the Town Clerk, Henderson Borough Council, Henderson, not later than 4 p.m. on the 5th day of July 1967.

Every objection shall state the grounds of the objection and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in support of his objection.
