HAWKE’S BAY CATCHMENT BOARD
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Hawke’s Bay Catchment Board proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, soil conservation and river control works in the vicinity of the Chesterhope Bridge, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the said Catchment Board situate in Browning Street, Napier, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land, should if they have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Hawke’s Bay Catchment Board at its office aforesaid, and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

RODNEY COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Rodney County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a road being portion of Sandspit Road, within the County of Rodney, and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situated in Baxter Street, Warkworth, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by, and who have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such lands, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, must state their objections in writing and send the same within 40 days from the 3rd day of June 1967, being the date of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, at the County Offices, Baxter Street, Warkworth.

TAUPO BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Fire Engine Loan 1967, £3,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taupo Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of three thousand pounds (£3,000), authorised to be raised by the Taupo Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes of purchasing a replacement fire engine, the said Taupo Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of nought decimal nought two five nine nine six pence (0.025996d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Taupo, comprising the whole of the Borough of Taupo, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Taupo Borough Council at a meeting held on the 29th day of May 1967.

TAUPO BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Water Supply Redemption Loan 1967, £16,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taupo Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of sixteen thousand pounds (£16,000), authorised to be raised by the Taupo Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of redeeming on maturity portion of the Water Supply Loan (1955) £130,000 which matures on the 1st day of July 1967, the said Taupo Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of nought decimal one four four nine pence (0.1449d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Taupo, comprising the whole of the Borough of Taupo, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGE BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Christchurch Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £250,000, authorised to be raised by the Christchurch Drainage Board for the purpose of providing stormwater drainage and relief works, the said Christchurch Drainage Board hereby makes a special rate of £0.0000629 in the pound upon the capital rateable value of the Board’s land drainage area, as described by a resolution of the Board dated the 22nd day of May 1952, and as altered from time to time by resolutions of the Board under section 59 of the Christchurch District Drainage Act 1951, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Christchurch Drainage Board held on 23 May 1967.
