Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 16 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provisions shall apply:
A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964* to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Consent to Erection of Flashing Red Traffic Control Lights by the National Roads Board
PURSUANT to regulation 18 (5) of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Minister of Transport hereby consents to the erection of flashing red lights by the National Roads Board as described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of traffic control.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Waikouaiti County on No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) on Kilmog Hill, at the intersections of Evansdale Glen Road and McPherson’s Drive with the said highway where the National Roads Board is reconstructing the highway.

Limited Speed Zone Declared
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice that the road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

SITUATED within Wallace County at Fairfax:
Riverton-Otautau-Nightcaps Road (from a point 8 chains measured southerly generally along the said road from the Fairfax-Isla Bank Road to a point 16 chains measured northerly generally along the said road from the Fairfax-Isla Bank Road).

Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work at Waihola and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 5th day of June 1967.

Additional Land at Waihola Taken for the Purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway from and after the 5th day of June 1967.
