HENDERSON BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pensioners’ Flats Loan 1966, £3,900
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Henderson Borough Council held on the 16th day of May 1967.
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Henderson Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the loan of £3,900, authorised to be raised by the Henderson Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting accommodation for old people, the said Henderson Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought three pence (.03d.) in the pound on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Henderson, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off, and that such special rate is hereby permanently appropriated and pledged as security for the purpose of securing the said loan of £3,900 and interest thereon, at the rate of 3½ percent per annum.”

BOROUGH OF KAWERAU
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Water Supply Loan 1967, £110,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kawerau Borough Board of Commissioners hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of one hundred and ten thousand pounds (£110,000), authorised to be raised by the Kawerau Borough Board of Commissioners under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of supplementing the existing water supply by utilising springs on the east bank of the Tarawera River, the said Kawerau Borough Board of Commissioners hereby makes a special rate of decimal two one pence (.21d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Kawerau, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid.”

PATANGATA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan, £15,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Patangata County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges of a loan of £15,000, authorised to be raised by the Patangata County Council under the above-mentioned Act for a Rural Housing Loan, the said Patangata County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.000214d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the County of Patangata, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half yearly on the 29th day of May and November in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Patangata County Council held on the 17th day of May 1967.

MARLBOROUGH HARBOUR BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Marlborough Harbour Board resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £4,400, authorised to be raised by the Marlborough Harbour Board for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Harbour Development Loan No. 2, 1960, which matures on 1 June 1967, the Marlborough Harbour Board hereby makes a special rate of 0.125d. in the pound on the capital value of all rateable property in the harbour district, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of six years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Marlborough Harbour Board held on the 15th day of May 1967.

BIRKENHEAD BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Notice of Application for Consent to Specified Departure
NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by Stephen William Godfrey, of Birkenhead, bus driver, and Shirley Esme Godfrey, his wife, for consent to a specified departure from the operative district scheme of the Birkenhead Borough Council, namely, to carry on the business of toy making and operating machinery associated therewith on the property hereinafter described.
The property is situated at No. 10 Birkdale Road, Birkenhead, and is located in a commercial “B” zone.
The legal description of the property is:
All that land containing fourteen (14) perches, more or less, being part of Lot 7, on Deposited Plan 19281, and being part of Allotment 139, Parish of Takapuna, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 1808, folio 47 (North Auckland Registry).
The application may be examined at the offices of the Birkenhead Borough Council, during normal office hours, and any persons or bodies affected may object to the application by notice in writing, delivered to the Town Clerk, Birkenhead Borough Council, Birkenhead, not later than 4 p.m. on the 20th day of June 1967. Every objector shall state the grounds of his objection and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in support of his objection.

NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by Francis Bernard Chambers, of 61 White Street, Rangiora, for consent to change of use of the under-mentioned property for the erection and use of motels.
The property is on the west side of Main North Road at Woodend.
The legal description of the land is part Rural Section 833, Block XI, Rangiora Survey District, certificate of title, register 3p, folio 365, containing 1 acre 3 roods 22 perches, owned by Eric John Woodbury.

THE INSURANCE COMPANIES’ DEPOSITS ACT 1953
PROPOSED RELEASE OF DEPOSITS
THE West Coast (S.I.) Sawmillers’ Mutual Accident Insurance Co. has given notice to the Public Trustee that it has ceased to carry on business in New Zealand in respect of all classes of insurance business, and that it proposes to withdraw all deposits which have been made by it with the Public Trustee pursuant to section 19 of the above-mentioned Act.
The Public Trustee therefore gives notice pursuant to section 19 (3) of the above-mentioned Act, that, subject to his being satisfied that all the liabilities of the said company
