HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Land and Income Tax Act 1954, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER
-
This order may be cited as the Land and Income Tax Payment Order 1967.

Expressions used in this order have the same meanings as in the Land and Income Tax Act 1954.

This order applies to:
(a) Land tax for the year of assessment which commenced on the 1st day of April, 1967; and
(b) Income tax payable for that year of assessment on income derived (or deemed to have been derived) during the income year which commenced on the 1st day of April 1966 by—
(i) Every subsisting company otherwise than as trustee or agent:
(ii) Every public authority otherwise than as trustee or agent:
(iii) Every Maori authority.

Land tax shall be due and payable in one sum on the 7th day of October 1967.

Income tax to which this order applies shall be due and payable in one sum on the 7th day of February 1968.

Land tax and income tax to which this order applies shall be payable at any office of the Inland Revenue Department or at any money-order post office.

PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Meringa Rabbit District Order 1967.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
- The boundaries of the Meringa Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 14th day of August 1940*, are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE MERINGA RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the South Auckland and Wellington Land Districts, in the Taumarunui and Taupo Counties, containing 449,800 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Ongarue River, in line with the western boundary of Section 2, Block X, Hurakia Survey District, and proceeding generally easterly up the middle of that river to a point in line with the generally western boundary of Maraeroa A 2 Block in Block VII, Hurakia Survey District; thence generally southerly to, and along, that boundary and the generally western boundary of part Waihaha No. 1 to Trig. Station No. 2165 (Pakihi) in Block II, Puketapu Survey District; thence south-easterly along a right line to the north-easternmost corner of Hauhungaroa No. 4; thence generally easterly along the generally northern boundaries of Hauhungaroa No. 5 and 2c Blocks to the intersection of the last-mentioned boundary produced with the middle of the Waiwhaanga Stream; thence easterly generally down the middle of that stream and the middle of the Oruapuraho River to the shore of Lake Taupo; thence generally southerly along the generally western shore of Lake Taupo to, and up the middle of, the Tongariro River and the Waikato River to its source in Block XII, Ruapehu Survey District; thence westerly along a right line to Trig. Station H (Paretetaitonga) in Block XI, Ruapehu Survey District; thence northerly along a right line to Trig. Station D (Ngauruhoe) in Block XVI, Tongariro Survey District, and along a right line to Trig. Station Tongariro, and along another right line between the last-mentioned Trig. Station and the middle of the mouth of the Waihi Stream in Block V, Puketi Survey District, to, and generally north-westerly down the middle of, the Wanganui River, to, and up the middle of, the Ongarue River, to and generally easterly up the middle of, the Mangatukutuku Stream, to, and along the north-eastern boundaries of, Sections 1 and 2, Block III, Tuhua Survey District, along the western and generally northern boundaries of Section 3, Block IV, Tuhua Survey District, to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 13, Block XIV, Ongarue Survey District; thence along a right line across a public road to, and along, that south-eastern boundary, along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 4, 5, and 6, the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Section 1, and the north-eastern boundary of Section 2, the aforesaid sections being of Block IV, aforesaid, along the generally northern boundary of Section 1, Block I, Puketapu Survey District, to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 2, Block I, aforesaid; thence along a right line across a public road to, and along, the north-western and northern boundaries of the last-mentioned Section 2, to, and generally northerly along, the western and northern boundaries of part Rangitoto Tuhua No. 10, along the north-western boundary of Section 1, Block XIV, Hurakia Survey District, and a right line, being the last-mentioned boundary produced, across a public road to, and along, the southern and western boundaries of Section 5 and the western boundary of Section 2, the last-mentioned sections being of Block X, Hurakia Survey District, crossing an intervening public road, and along a right line, being the last-mentioned western boundary produced, to the middle of the Ongarue River, the point of commencement.

The St. John’s Church Burial Ground (Te Awamutu) Closing Order 1967

PURSUANT to the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

This order may be cited as the St. John’s Church Burial Ground (Te Awamutu) Closing Order 1967.

It is hereby directed that the St. John’s Church Burial Ground (Te Awamutu), being that part of the area described in the Schedule hereto used or set apart as a burial ground, shall be closed and burials therein discontinued after the 30th day of November 1967.

As from the 30th day of November 1967 the control and management of the closed St. John’s Church Burial Ground (Te Awamutu) shall vest in the Waikato Diocesan Trust Board, a Board deemed to have been duly incorporated under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957.

SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing 3 roods 2.5 perches, more or less, being Lot 6, D.P. 16493, part Allotment 321, Parish of Mangapiko, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 3B, folio 1279, South Auckland Registry.
