NOTICE is hereby given that the Deputy Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act 1909, by writing under his hand dated the 5th day of May 1967, cancelled the registry of Rose of Palmerston Lodge, No. 9, a branch of the Grand Lodge of Otago and Southland, New Zealand, of the United Ancient Order of Druids Friendly Society (Register No. 298/9), held at Palmerston, on the ground that the said branch has ceased to exist.

NURSE MAUDE DISTRICT NURSING ASSOCIATION ACT 1967


IN the matter of a Bill intituled the Nurse Maude District Nursing Association Act 1967, and in the matter of Hugh Boscawen Anderson, of Christchurch, retired naval officer, and Lionel Denis Cotterill, of Christchurch, solicitor, notice is hereby given that the above-named promoters intend to apply to the House of Representatives for leave to bring in a Bill intituled The Nurse Maude District Nursing Association Act 1967. The objects of the Bill are to incorporate the Nurse Maude District Nursing Association, and to declare the trusts and powers of and concerning the same.

Communications or notices to the promoters may be sent to them at the office of the Nurse Maude District Nursing Association, 192 Madras Street, Christchurch. A copy of the Bill may be inspected at the said office.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER


NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Queenstown Borough Council, held on Monday, the 1st day of May 1967, the following resolution was passed, and it will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council, to be held on Tuesday, the 6th day of June 1967, at 7.30 p.m., at the Library Reading Rooms, Stanley Street, Queenstown.

RESOLUTION CONSOLIDATING SPECIAL RATES

“That, in pursuance of the powers vested in the Queenstown Borough Council by virtue of section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Council hereby resolves to make a consolidated special rate of 1.17093 pence in the pound on the rateable value of all property within the Borough of Queenstown (on the basis of the unimproved value), such a rate to be an annually recurring rate and shall replace the existing special rates as specified in the Schedule hereunder and such a resolution to operate as a special order, pursuant to the provisions of section 77 of the said Act.”

EXTENSION OF BOUNDARY URBAN AREA—MANUKAU CITY


Certified Copy of a Resolution Passed at a Meeting of the Auckland Regional Authority Held on the 17th day of April 1967

“In pursuance of the provisions of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963 and of every or any other power it thereunto enabling, the Authority hereby resolves that, as on and from and 1st day of April 1967, the land described or referred to in the Schedule of this resolution shall be and the same are hereby constituted land zoned as urban for all or any of the purposes of the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, and that the same shall and do hereby form part of, and be included in, the area land zoned as urban for all or any such purposes, and that the land which comprised or constituted the area land zoned as urban prior to the passing of this resolution shall be, and the same is hereby increased or extended so as to include therein, the lands described or referred to in the said Schedule.”

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block XIII, Otahuhu Survey District, being the intersection of the line of mean high water (spring tides) on the shores of the Manukau Harbour, with a line parallel to, on the northern side of, and 250 links distant from the northern side of Gibbons Road, and proceeding easterly along that line, to and north-easterly along the north-western side of Weymouth Road to the easternmost corner of Allotment 182, Suburbs of Weymouth, and along the production of the eastern boundary of that allotment to the northern side of Weymouth Road; thence easterly along that northern side to and south-easterly along the boundary of the inner area of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District as described in N.Z. Gazette 1966, page 149, to and generally westerly and then northerly along the line of mean high water (spring tide) on the right bank of the Waimahia Creek, and the shores of the Manukau Harbour, to the point of commencement.

Also, all that area in the North Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the south-western boundary of the Borough of Howick as described in N.Z. Gazette, 1960, page 1060, with the western side of Bradbury’s Road in Block III, Otahuhu Survey District, and proceeding south-westerly along that roadside to and westerly along the northern side of Cascades Road and its production across the Pakuranga Creek to the eastern boundary of Allotment 26, Pakuranga Parish; thence westerly generally along the generally southern boundary of that allotment to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lot 309, D.P. 53368; thence along a right line to the southernmost corner of Lot 344, D.P. 53368, and then northerly generally along the boundary of the inner area of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District described in the Fifth Schedule to the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960, to and north-easterly and then north-westerly along the boundary of the said inner area described in N.Z. Gazette, 1966, page 149, to and northerly generally along the line of mean high water on the right bank of the Tamaki River, to the boundary of the said inner area described in the Fourth Schedule to the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Act 1960; thence south-easterly generally along the last-mentioned boundary, to and southerly generally along the boundary of the Borough of Howick aforesaid, to the point of commencement.

Also, all that area in the North Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block VII, Otahuhu Survey District, distant 17 chains on a bearing of 13° 00′ from a point on the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 21793, distant 18 chains from the northernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 29684, and proceeding along a right line bearing 193° 00′ to and westerly along the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 21793, to and southerly along the eastern side of Harris Road, to and easterly along the northern side of Smales Road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 54026; thence to and along that boundary and the eastern, southern, and western boundaries of Lot 2, D.P. 54026, to and along the generally southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 42468, to and northerly along the eastern side of Springs Road to a point in line with the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 33352; thence to and along that boundary and continuing along the southern and western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 13917, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the north-eastern side of Allens Road; thence northerly generally along that roadside and the eastern side of Cryers Road to and still northerly generally along the line of mean high water on the left bank of the Pakuranga Creek to its intersection with a line bearing 310° 30′ from the point of commencement; thence along that line to the point of commencement.
