WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Green Bay County Town Development Loan 1967
PURSUANT to section 13 (2A) of the Local Authorities Loans
Act 1956, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves as
follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of £17,000, to be raised by the Waitemata County
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
constructing footpaths and kerbing and channelling in the
Green Bay County Town, the said Waitemata County Council
hereby makes a special rate of 0.633d. in the pound on the
rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the
Green Bay County Town, and that the special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan
and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of a resolution passed by the Waitemata County Council on
the 27th day of April 1967.

BOROUGH OF PUKEKOHE

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Purchase of Properties Loan 1967 of £14,000
NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution was
passed at a meeting of the Pukekohe Borough Council held
on the 19th day of April 1967.
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Pukekohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of fourteen thousand pounds (£14,000), authorised
to be raised by the Pukekohe Borough Council under the
above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing property,
the said Pukekohe Borough Council hereby makes a rate of
decimal one nought five (.105) pence in the pound (£) upon
the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of
all rateable property in the Borough of Pukekohe, and that
the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on the
1st day of June and the 1st day of December in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE IN CONNECTION WITH THE
WELLINGTON CITY RENEWAL LOAN NO. 1 1967 OF £85,000

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Wellington City Council held on the 1st day of May 1967:
“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of eighty-five thousand pounds (£85,000), to be
known as the Wellington City Council Renewal Loan No. 1
1967 of £85,000, authorised to be raised by the Wellington
City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of repaying on maturity those portions of the Water Services
Loan 1955 £150,000, Johnsonville Water Supply Loan 1954
£105,000, Johnsonville Sewerage Loan 1954 £163,000, City
Reserves Improvements Loan 1950 £180,000, and Electricity
Loan 1956 £250,000, which mature on 15 July 1967, the
Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of
decimal nought three two of a penny (.032d.) in the pound
on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value)
of all rateable property within the whole of the City of
Wellington, and that the said special rate shall be an annual-

recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall
be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year
during the currency of the said loan, being a period of
fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

HAURAKI PLAINS COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Hauraki Plains County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £50,000, authorised to be raised by the Hauraki
Plains County Council under the above-mentioned Act for
the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the
Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Hauraki Plains County
Council hereby makes a special rate of 5½d. in the pound
upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the
Hauraki Plains County, comprising the whole of the County
of Hauraki Plains, and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and
shall be payable yearly on the 7th day of August in each
and every year during the currency of the loan, being a
period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a
resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the
Hauraki Plains County Council held at the County Council
Chambers, Ngatea, on Monday, the 24th day of April 1967.

WAIMATE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT, in pursuance of the powers vested in it by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and all other powers enabling it
in that behalf, the Waimate Borough Council does hereby
resolve as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and principal
repayment charges on the Pensioner Flats Loan 1966,
£20,000, the Waimate Borough Council hereby appropriates
and pledges as security for the said loan a special rate of
0.469d. in the pound on the rateable value (based on unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of
Waimate.”
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Waimate Borough Council held on Thursday, the 10th day of
November 1966.

Notice of Application for Consent to a Specified Departure
NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by
Peter Carolus Joseph Smeele and Jan Harm Muller, both of
Auckland, for consent to a specified departure from the
operative district scheme of the City of Auckland, in that
the applicants wish to utilise the below described land for
the purposes of erecting thereon buildings for use as a carriers’
depot and warehouse with storage facilities, and the applicants
also apply for consent to site the above buildings 15 feet
from the northern boundary of the land, that boundary being
a boundary adjoining a residential zone. The property is
situated at No. 1 Trent Street, Avondale, and is located
in the residential zone. The legal description of the land is
that area containing 2 acres and 31.5 perches being part
Allotments 58 and 62, Parish of Titirangi, and being all the
land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume
539, folio 243 (North Auckland Registry), limited as to
parcels.
The application may be examined at the office of the
Auckland City Council, Administration Building, Cook
Street, Auckland, during normal office hours, and any person
or body affected may object to the application by notice in
writing, delivered to the Town Clerk, Auckland City Council,
Private Bag, Auckland, not later than 4 p.m. on the 1st day
of June 1967. Every objector shall state the grounds of the
objection and whether the objector wishes to be heard by
the Council in support of his objection.
