Waiapu-Matakaoa Development Scheme Amending Notice 1967, No. 1
WHEREAS, by virtue of the notice described in the First Schedule hereto, the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is now subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 and it is desired to vary the same:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.
NOTICE
- This notice may be cited as the Waiapu-Matakaoa Development Scheme Amending Notice 1967, No. 1.
- The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.
- The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Assignment of Foreshore Licence at Taieri Mouth
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Acting Secretary for Marine hereby gives notice that the licence granted to Donald Stanley Hargreaves, on 22 July 1965, to use and occupy a site on the foreshore and bed at Taieri mouth for the purpose of erecting and maintaining thereon a jetty is hereby assigned to Colin Desmond Ward.

Reserve Bank of New Zealand
PURSUANT to section 33 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1964, the Reserve Bank, acting with the approval of the Minister of Finance, hereby gives notice that, as at the close of business on Friday, 20 January 1967, and until further notice, balances to be maintained in the Reserve Bank by each trading bank shall be equal to an amount which, when added to that bank's holdings of Reserve Bank notes as disclosed in that bank's latest available weekly return of Banking Statistics under the Statistics Act 1955, will be not less than the aggregate of: 24 percent of that bank's demand deposits in New Zealand, plus 3 percent of that bank's time deposits in New Zealand (excluding wool retention deposits), as shown in the last preceding monthly return furnished by that bank in accordance with section 31 of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Act 1964.
The balances to be maintained as aforesaid shall be exclusive of any balance held by a trading bank in its wool retention or special fund account at the Reserve Bank.

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the British standards, revisions, and amendments listed in the Schedule hereto are being considered for adoption as New Zealand standard specifications. All persons who may be affected by them, and who desire to comment thereon, may, on application, obtain copies on loan from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Hooson's Building, 53–55 Courtenay Place, or Private Bag, Wellington C. 1.
Requests should specify that copies are required for comment purposes.
The closing date for the receipt of comment is 15 February 1967.
