- (1) The delegation to the Waimea County Council
of the powers of appointing and removing trustees of the
said cemetery, made by Order in Council dated the 18th
day of September 1933*, is hereby revoked.
(2) The said Order in Council is hereby accordingly
amended by omitting from the second column of the
Schedule the words “Waimea South” where they appear
opposite the reference to the Waimea County Council in
the first column of that Schedule.

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District containing 5
acres, more or less; being part Section 54 and 54A, District
of Waimea South, situated in Block IX, Waimea Survey

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 24th day of
April 1967
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. J. R. MARSHALL, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes
the following order.

ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Motukaraka Cemetery
Order 1967.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of
June 1967. - The Hokianga County Council is hereby appointed to
have the control and management of the Motukaraka Ceme-
tary, being the area described in the Schedule hereto, as
from the 31st day of May 1967. - (1) The delegation to the Hokianga County Council
of the powers of appointing and removing trustees of the
said cemetery, made by Order in Council dated the 18th day of
September 1933*, is hereby revoked.
(2) The said Order in Council is hereby accordingly
amended by omitting from the second column of the
Schedule the word “Motukaraka” where it appears opposite
the reference to the Hokianga County Council in the first
column of that Schedule.

Exempting Land in the South Auckland Land District from
the Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

PURSUANT to the Coal Mines Act 1925, His Excellency the
Governor-General hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE
THE land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby exempted
from the operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925.

SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the South Auckland Land District
containing 109 acres 1 rood 20 perches, more or less, being
Allotment 247, Whangape Parish, situated in Block XIII,
Rangiriri Survey District, and being parts of lands comprised
in certificates of title, Volume 121, folio 277, Volume 132,
folio 112, and Volume 152, folio 210.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the S.O.
43363 plan marked as above mentioned, deposited in the
office of the Mines Department at Wellington, and thereon
coloured red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General this 17th day of April 1967.

Governor-General hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE
THE notice of 25 January 1967 exempting land in the Westland
Land District, made on 25 January 1967, and published in
the Gazette on 9 February 1967, at page 148, is hereby
amended by omitting the words “Deposited Plan 86”, and
substituting the words “Deposited Plan 84”.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General this 17th day of April 1967.

Amending the Limits of the Gisborne Harbour Pilotage
District

PURSUANT to section 211 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Brigadier
Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby amends the limits* of the Gisborne Harbour
Pilotage District by deleting the words “having as its centre
the west Groyne light structure sited approximately at 38°
40′ 41″ south and 178° 01′ 10″ east” and substituting therefor
the words “having as its centre the southern point of the west
Groyne sited approximately at 38° 40′ 40″ south and 178° 01′
10″ east”.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
this 17th day of April 1967.

Lieutenant Commander W. J. Doole, released (own request)
to date 31 March 1967 and placed on Retired List to date
1 April 1967.
Lieutenant H. R. Hume, promoted to rank of Lieutenant
Commander to date 28 February 1967 and reappointed.
Lieutenant W. F. Jaques, advanced to Assistant Surveyor
1st Class, to date 1 January 1967.
Lieutenant A. R. Mitchell, granted acting rank of Lieutenant
Commander, to date 1 November 1966 whilst holding his
present post.
Lieutenant E. L. Roberts, promoted to rank of Lieutenant
Commander, to date 16 March 1967.
Sub-Lieutenant D. R. Reyburn, promoted to rank of
Lieutenant, to date 25 February 1967 and reappointed.
