IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter of Lethabys Investments Ltd., duly incorporated in New Zealand, having its registered office in the City of Auckland, Umbrella Agents, notice is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 1st day of March 1967, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £6,000 to £300 in the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 9th day of March 1967. The said minute is in the words and figures following:

Notice is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, dated the 20th day of March 1967, confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from £78,000 to £8,000, and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 23rd day of March 1967. The said minute is in the words and figures following:
“The paid-up capital of Courtenay Chambers Ltd. is £8,000 comprised in 8,000 ordinary shares of £1 each fully paid, having been reduced from £78,000 comprised in 78,000 ordinary shares of £1 each fully paid by the cancellation of 70,000 ordinary shares of £1 each fully paid and the return to the holders thereof of the sum of £1 per share.”

Certified Copy of Resolution Making Special Rate as Security for the Mount Albert 1967 Pensioners’ Flats Loan of £28,000 Passed by the Mount Albert Borough Council at a Special Meeting Held on the 28th day of March 1967
“THAT, in pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and of every other power in that behalf enabling it, the Mount Albert Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £28,000, known as the Pensioners’ Flats Loan 1967, of £28,000, for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for old people, the Mount Albert Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought one one nine of a penny (.0119d.) in the pound on the rateable value on the basis of the capital value of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Albert, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 40 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
Given under the common seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Mount Albert, this 31st day of March 1967.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATES

Housing of Aged Loan 1964—Additional Loan of £2,000
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Tauranga City Council, held on the 12th day of December 1966, the following resolution was passed:
“That pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £2,000, authorised to be raised by the Tauranga City Council under the above-mentioned Act for meeting the deficiency on the Housing Aged Loan 1959, purchasing land and erecting additional accommodation for old people, the said Tauranga City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought four pence (.004d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Tauranga, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on the 15th day of June and December in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
