Licensing Whangarei Auto Co. Ltd. to Occupy a Site for a Motor Garage in Northern Wairoa River at Dargaville

———

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Minister of Marine hereby licenses and permits Whangarei Auto Co. Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Northern Wairoa River at Dargaville, as shown on plan marked M.D. 5822 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon that part of a Motor Garage as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall expire on the 31st day of December 1976.

(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be three pounds (£3) ($6) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be six pounds (£6) ($12).

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964

———

PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 16 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provisions shall apply:

A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964* to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.
