BOROUGH OF ONEHUNGA


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Vehicle Testing Station Loan 1966, £45,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Onehunga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £45,000, authorised to be raised by the Onehunga Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing a leasehold property and erecting a motor vehicle testing station together with equipment and vehicular access, the said Onehunga Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 5½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Onehunga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate, during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing resolution was passed by the Onehunga Borough Council at a meeting held on Monday, 27 February 1967.

Municipal Building Loan 1966, £150,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Onehunga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £150,000, authorised to be raised by the Onehunga Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing Council Chambers, Council administrative offices, and public library, the said Onehunga Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 2⁵⁄₆₄d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Onehunga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing resolution was passed by the Onehunga Borough Council at a meeting held on Monday, 27 February 1967.

BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


Workers Housing Loan, 1966

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Bay of Islands County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £8,000, authorised to be raised by the Bay of Islands County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing existing houses and/or purchasing land and erecting houses thereon for Council staff, the said Bay of Islands County Council hereby makes a special rate of five hundredths of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value (based on the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Bay of Islands; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Council held on Wednesday, 8 February 1967.

HUNTLY BOROUGH COUNCIL


RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE


PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Huntly Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing annual charges on a loan of £15,000, authorised to be raised by the Huntly Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending and improving the Borough water supply, the said Huntly Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one cent in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough of Huntly; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Notice of Application for Consent to Specified Departure

NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by John Howard Morrison, of Birkenhead, for consent to a specified departure from the district scheme of the Borough, to allow the use of the property described below for a petrol station and garage.

The property is situated at No. 205 Birkdale Road, on the corner of Birkdale Road and Levesque Street, and is located in the residential zone.

The legal description of the land is 2 roods 20.7 perches, part Allotment 131, Parish of Takapuna, and all the land in certificate of title, Volume 936, folio 144.

The application may be examined at the office of the Birkenhead Borough Council, Highbury, Birkenhead, during normal office hours; and any person or body affected may object to the application by notice in writing, delivered to the Town Clerk, Birkenhead Borough Council, P.O. NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by Auckland Handle and Dowel Co. Ltd. for consent to a conditional use within the operative district scheme of the Borough of Mount Wellington, in that the applicant wishes the below-described land to be utilised for the purposes of erecting thereon, and operating therefrom, a service station for the retail sale of motor spirits, lubricants, tyres, and motor accessories, and a garage for the repair of motor vehicles.

The property is situated at No. 80 Carbine Road, Mount Wellington, and is located in the industrial zone.

The legal description of the land is all that piece of land containing one acre, more or less, being Lot 1, Deposited Plan 42700, and being part of Hamlin’s Grant, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 1161, folio 48, North Auckland Registry.

The application may be examined at the office of the Mount Wellington Borough Council, corner Pilkington and Queens Roads, Mount Wellington, during normal office hours; and any person or body affected may object to the application by notice in writing, delivered to the Town Clerk, Mount Wellington Borough Council, P.O.
