PAPAKURA BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby
given that the Papakura Borough Council proposes, under
the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to execute a certain
work, namely, the taking of land for a water-catchment area
in the County of Franklin; and, for the purposes of such
public work, the land described in the Schedule hereto is
required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the
land so required to be taken is deposited in the public offices
of the Town Clerk, at the Council Chambers, Papakura, and
it is open for public inspection, without fee, by all persons,
during ordinary office hours.
Every person affected who wishes to make any objection
to the execution of the said public work, or to the taking
of the said land (not being an objection to the amount of or
payment of compensation), must state his objection, in writing,
and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication
of this notice, to the Town Clerk, Borough Council Chambers,
Papakura.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land containing 26 acres 2 roods 16 perches,
more or less, being part of Allotment 177, of the Parish of
Hunua, and being part of the land comprised in certificate
of title, Volume 1169, folio 40, of the register book at
Auckland; as is shown, coloured yellow, on Survey Office
Plan No. 44710, and situated adjacent to the Papakura
Borough water-catchment area.

RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, public notice
is hereby given that the Raglan County Council proposes,
under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to
take for road the portions of land described in the Schedule
hereto.
A plan of the portions of land proposed to be taken is
open for public inspection at the office of the Raglan County
Council, Great South Road, Ngaruawahia, during the 40
days from the date of the first publication of this notice.
All persons objecting to the proposal must lodge their objec-
tion in writing, at the office of the Council on or before the
23rd day of January 1967.

HAWKE’S BAY COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Hawke’s Bay County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928,
to execute a certain public work, namely, to erect a sewerage
pump station in School Road, Clive, and for the purpose of
such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land
so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of
the Clerk to the Hawke’s Bay County Council, situate in
Browning Street, Napier, and is open for inspection, without
fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of such land should if they have any
objection to the execution of the said public work or to
the taking of the said land, not being objections to the
amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in
writing and send the written objection within 40 days of
the first publication of this notice to the Clerk to the Hawke’s
Bay County Council, at his office aforesaid, and that if any
objection is made in accordance with this notice a public
hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector other-
wise requires and each objector will be advised of the time
and place of the hearing.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provi-
sions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land des-
cribed in the First Schedule hereto for road purposes, and
to take the portion of road described in the Second Schedule
hereto for severance purposes, and notice is hereby further
given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is
deposited in the office of the Waikohu County Council, at
Te Karaka, and is there open for inspection, and that all
persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if
they have any well grounded objections to the taking of such
land, set forth the same in writing and send such written
objection within forty (40) days from the first publication
of the notice to the Waikohu County Council, at Te Karaka.
FIRST SCHEDULE
FIRSTLY, all that piece of land containing one rood and six-
teen perches (1r. 16p.) being part Rangatira 3J 2 Block
situated in Block IV, Waikohu Survey District, and being

MANUKAU CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Bus Depot Loan 1966, £160,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the
South Auckland Local Authorities Empowering Act 1966, the
Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges
on a loan of £160,000, authorised to be raised by the Manukau
City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of purchase of land, and the establishment and erection
thereon of a bus depot, within the City of Manukau, the
said Manukau City Council hereby makes a special rate of
decimal nought nine seven pence (.097d.) in the pound (£)
upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property
of the City of Manukau; and that the special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and
be payable yearly, on the 1st day of April in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of thirty-five (35) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I, Ronald Wood, Town Clerk of the Manukau City Council,
hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at a meeting of the Manukau City Council, held on the
14th day of February 1967.
