Objections to the proposed changes, or to any part of the
changes, shall be in writing, in form E, prescribed in the
First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council, at any
time not later than the 17th day of April 1967.
At a later date every objection will be open for public
inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose
any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of
objections, if he notifies the Town Clerk, in writing, within the
period of which public notice will be given.

WANGANUI CITY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Approved Change to the City of Wanganui District Scheme
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1960, public notice is hereby given that the under-mentioned
change to the district scheme, under the Town and Country
Planning Act 1953, for the City of Wanganui, was approved
by the Council by a resolution passed at its meeting on the
13th day of February 1967.
No deferment was sought by the Minister or any local
authority, and all objections relating to the change have been
disposed of. No appeals have been made to the board.
The Council has also resolved that the under-mentioned
change shall come into operation on the 1st day of March
1967.
Copies of the change as approved have been deposited in the
Council’s office, St. Hill Street, Wanganui, and in the Wanganui
Public Library, and may be inspected, without fee, by any
person who so requires, at any time when these places are
open to the public.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Departure from Operative District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to the provisions
of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and its amend-
ments, and of the regulations made thereunder, the Town and
Country Planning Appeal Board, by order No. 249/66, dated
the 13th day of January 1967, gave consent to a specified
departure from the provisions of the City of Wanganui district
scheme by permitting dispensation from ordinance 3, clause 3
(6) of the said scheme, in respect of minimum area, to enable
the applicant, Maypole Holdings Ltd., to use, develop, and
build on the land described in the Schedule hereto; subject,
however, to compliance with all other requirements of the
said scheme.
SCHEDULE
THAT piece of land situate in the City of Wanganui, containing
14.98 perches, being situated on the corner of Swiss Avenue
and Abbot Street, in the said City, and being part of Section
227 of the right bank, Wanganui River, and being Lot 54,
Block I, on Deposited Plan No. 2338, and being the balance
of the land in certificate of title, Volume 601, folio 268
(Wellington Registry).

WANGANUI CITY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Approved Change to the City of Wanganui District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, in accordance with a deci-
sion of the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, dated
the 24th day of December 1964, the zoning of the land
described in the Schedule below is hereby changed from
industrial “C2” to residential “A”.
NOTE—When the Town and Country Planning Appeal
Board, consented, in 1964, to the creation of this special indus-
trial “C2” zone, it did so on the condition that the zoning was
to remain operative for a period of two years only, and unless
development in accordance with the zoning was commenced
within that time, the zoning of the land was to revert to
residential “A”. The Wanganui City Council has now been
advised by the lessee of the land described in the Schedule
that it is not intended to proceed with the construction of a
petroleum depot on this site.
SCHEDULE
PART Lot D, Deeds Plan 244, being part Wanganui Industrial
School Reserve, held in certificate of title, 465/158; fronting
Glasgow Street, and adjoining the Aramoho-Wanganui branch
railway.

Mount Roskill Borough Council District Scheme—Public
Notification of Proposed Change
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution
of the Mount Roskill Borough Council, made on the 7th
day of February 1967, a change to the district scheme has
been recommended for approval under the Town and
Country Planning Act 1953 and its amendments. The change
is listed in the Schedule hereto.
The change has been deposited in the office of the Mount
Roskill Borough Council, Three Kings, and is there open for
inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein, at
any time when the above place is open to the public.
Objections to the proposed change, or any part thereof,
shall be in writing, in form E, prescribed in the First Schedule
to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and
shall be lodged at the offices of the Council at any time not
later than 17 April 1967. (A suitable form for the use of
objectors is available from the Council offices.)

SECURITY RATE
Sewer Loan No. 3, 1966—£400,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Hamilton City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of four hundred thousand pounds (£400,000),
authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council under
the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing
sewer drains and drainage works, the said Hamilton City
Council hereby makes a special rate of four hundred and
twelve thousandths of a penny (0.412d.) in the pound upon
the rateable value of all rateable property within the City
of Hamilton; and that the special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable
yearly, on the 1st day of April in each and every year during
the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years,
or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of a resolution passed at a duly-constituted meeting of the
Hamilton City Council, held on the 8th day of February
1967.
