Mahoenui Development Scheme, Amending Notice 1967, No. 1


WHEREAS, by virtue of the notice described in the First Schedule hereto, the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is now subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, and it is desired to vary the same:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.


NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Mahoenui Development Scheme Amending Notice 1967, No. 1.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

Alteration of Boundaries—Kairanga County—Palmerston North City


PURSUANT to section 36 of the Local Government Commission Act 1961, it is hereby notified that the Local Government Appeal Authority has fixed 9.30 a.m. on Tuesday, 21 March 1967, as the time, and the Council Chambers, Palmerston North City Council, as the place, for the hearing of the appeal by the Kairanga County Council against the final scheme of the Local Government Commission, dated 16 September 1966, providing for certain areas to be excluded from Kairanga County and included in Palmerston North City.
