Where, in respect of any section of a State highway, the turning of a vehicle from facing or travelling in one direction to facing or travelling in the opposite direction is prohibited, no person shall turn his vehicle in the aforesaid manner on that section of State highway contrary to the terms of such prohibition.

Every person who commits an offence against this bylaw is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £20.
This bylaw was made by resolution duly passed at a meeting of the National Roads Board, held in Wellington on the 15th day of December 1966.

Bylaw Regulating Heavy Vehicles on the Buller River Bridge on No. 67 State Highway (Westport-Karamea)
Pursuant to the National Roads Act 1953 and the Transport Act 1962 and all powers and authorities in any wise enabling it in that behalf, the National Roads Board hereby makes the following bylaw.

This bylaw may be cited as the National Roads Board Bylaw 1966, No. 4.

This bylaw shall come into force on the day after its publication in the Gazette.

In this bylaw heavy “vehicle” has the meaning assigned to it in the Transport Act 1962.

The driver of a heavy vehicle which is following another heavy vehicle upon or over the Buller River Bridge (being the bridge described in the Schedule hereto) shall keep a distance of not less than 100 ft from that heavy vehicle while it is on the said bridge.

This bylaw shall apply only to heavy vehicles travelling on the said bridge in the direction of Westport.

Every person who commits an offence against this bylaw is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding twenty pounds (£20).
SCHEDULE
THE Buller River Bridge on No. 67 State Highway (Westport-Karamea) spanning the Buller River at Westport.
This bylaw was made by resolution duly passed at a meeting of the National Roads Board, held in Wellington on the 15th day of December 1966.

Waikato Development Scheme Amending Notice 1966, No. 6
WHEREAS, by virtue of the notice described in the First Schedule hereto, the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is now subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 and it is desired to vary the same:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows.

The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Awatere Rabbit District Divided into Wards (Notice No. Ag. 10022)
Pursuant to section 14A of the Rabbits Act 1955, the Awatere Rabbit Board hereby declares the Awatere Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 29th day of April 1935*, to be divided into wards having the names and boundaries specified in the Schedule hereto.

BOUNDARIES OF AWATERE WARD
ALL that area of land in the Marlborough Land District, Marlborough, Awatere, and Kaikoura Counties, containing approximately 342,060 acres, bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station Ref. Whernside in Block VII, Whernside Survey District, and proceeding generally south-westerly, westerly, and again south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of Run 209, the south-eastern and southern boundaries of Run 121A, the south-eastern boundary of part Run 207, and the summit of the Inland Kaikoura Range to the point known as the Pinnacle, 54 chains north of Tapuaenuku; thence along a right line bearing 240° true for a distance of approximately 215 chains to the summit of the said range; thence westerly and south-westerly along the summit of the said range to the south-western boundary of Section 1, Block IX, Tapuaenuku Survey District; thence generally south-westerly and westerly along the south-eastern and southern boundaries of part Run 216 and the southern boundary of Run 219 to the westernmost corner of the said Run 219 in Block VI, Barefell Survey District; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundary of the said Run 219 to a point in line with the south-western boundary of the Muller freehold in Block I, Tone Survey District; thence north-westerly and north-easterly to, and along, the south-western and north-western boundaries of the Muller freehold to the northern boundary of Section 4, Muller Run, Awatere Registration District, in Block III, Barefell Survey District; thence north-westerly along a right line to the south-western corner of part Section 13, Langridge Run, Awatere Registration District, in Block XXII, Molesworth Survey District; thence northerly along the western boundary of the said part Section 13 and northerly and westerly along the western and southern boundaries of Run 218 to the western boundary of the said run, on the watershed between the Acheron and Awatere Rivers at a point approximately 72 chains south of Trig. Station Murphy in Block XXI, Molesworth Survey District; thence generally south-westerly, northerly, easterly, and southerly along the south-eastern, western, northern, and eastern boundaries of Run 220 to the north-western boundary of part Run 116 in Block I, Upcot Survey District; thence generally north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of the said part Run 116, Run 215, and Run 206, to Trig.
