The Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1966, Amendment No. 2
PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Minister of Industries and Commerce hereby gives the following notice:

This notice may be cited as the Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1966, Amendment No. 2, and shall be read together with, and deemed part of, the Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1966* (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).

This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of its publication in the Gazette.
-
The principal notice shall cease to apply in respect of the goods set out in the Schedule hereto.

The principal notice is hereby consequentially amended by omitting from the Schedule thereto all references to the goods referred to in the Schedule hereto in respect of which, pursuant to clause 3 hereof, the principal notice no longer applies.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 16 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provisions shall apply:
A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964* to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964

Consent to Erection of Flashing Red Traffic Control Lights
PURSUANT to subclause (5) of regulation 18 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Minister of Transport hereby consents to the erection of flashing red lights by the Otahuhu Borough Council at the places described in the Schedule hereto, for the purposes of traffic control, in terms of subclause (4) of the said regulation 18.

SITUATED within Otahuhu Borough, at the intersection of Huia Road, Albion Road, and Great South Road, and at the intersection of Albion Road and Atkinson Avenue; as the same are more particularly indicated on Plan T.T. 4010 deposited in the Head Office of the Transport Department at Wellington.

Closely Populated Locality Declared
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice as follows:
-
So much of the Warrant, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 11th day of December 1964†, as relates to the limited speed zone restriction on the No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel) at Whitianga, in Coromandel County, is hereby revoked.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, to the intent that a person driving any motor vehicle thereon at any time during the period commencing with the 20th day of December each year and ending with the 18th day of February in the next ensuing year, and the period commencing with the Thursday preceding Easter and ending with the Tuesday following Easter, shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of 30 miles an hour fixed by the said section.

The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, to the intent that a person driving any motor vehicle thereon during the period commencing with the 19th day of February each year and ending with the Wednesday preceding Easter, and the period commencing with the Wednesday following Easter in each year and ending with the 19th day of December, shall be subject to the speed limitation fixed by the said regulation.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Coromandel County:
At Whitianga—
No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel) (from a point 16 chains measured northerly generally along the said highway from Eyres Road to a point 2 chains measured southerly generally along the said highway from Hadden Crescent).
At Simpson’s Beach—
No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel) (from a point 32 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said highway from the north-eastern end of the Tohetea Stream bridge to a point 64 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said highway from the north-eastern end of the said bridge).
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Coromandel County at Whitianga:
No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel) (from a point 16 chains measured northerly generally along the said highway from Eyres Road to a point 9 chains measured north-westerly generally along the said highway from Racecourse Road).
