Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line
of a Further Portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway
(Lower Hutt Valley Duplication) in the City of Lower Hutt

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir
Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New
Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 11th day
of August 1925, and published in Gazette, 13 August 1925,
Volume II, at page 2409 and registered as No. 1544, Wellington
Land Registry, defining the middle line of a further portion
of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Lower Hutt Valley
Duplication) in so far as it affects the land described in the
Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 30·75 perches situated in
the City of Lower Hutt, Wellington R.D., and being Lot 831,
D.P. 15394. All certificate of title, No. E4/775, Wellington
Land Registry.

Revocation of Order in Council Setting apart Maori Freehold
Land as a Maori Reservation

At the Government House at Wellington this 19th day of
December 1966

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 439 (5) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes
the Order in Council made on 22 March 1926, and pub-
lished in the Gazette, No. 20, 1 April 1926, and affecting the
land set out in the Schedule hereto.

ALL that piece of land described as Hauhungaroa No. 2A
Block, situate in Block IX, Karangahape Survey District, and
containing an area of 240 acres, more or less.

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets
apart the Maori freehold land described as Hurunuiorangi
1L and K as a Maori reservation, for the purposes of a
burial ground, for the common use and benefit of the owners
of the Hurunuiorangi and Parikauti Ruamahanga Blocks and
their descendants.
