Planning Appeal Board consented to the application of Hard-wicke and Robertson Ltd. for a departure, under section 35 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, from the above-mentioned district scheme for land at the corner of Devon Street West and Mount Edgecumbe Street, New Plymouth, being Section 240, and part of Section 241, Town of New Plymouth, subject to the conditions set out in the Schedule hereto.

The substance and effect of the consent is to permit, as a conditional use, the erection of a building on the said land and its use for the purposes of the applicant’s business, as a wholesale wine and spirit and tobacco merchant.

SCHEDULE

1. The siting of all buildings, provision of off-street parking, and entry and exit points for vehicles, to be to the approval of the City Engineer, New Plymouth City Council.

2. All portions of the site not required for building, parking, or access purposes to be laid out with lawns, trees, and shrubs to the approval of the Director of Parks, New Plymouth City Council, and maintained to the approval of the said Director.

3. The plans of any proposed building or buildings to be to the approval of the said City Engineer.

4. Leave reserved to all parties “to apply”.

MOUNT ALBERT BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Review of the Borough of Mount Albert District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Council made on the 13th day of September 1966, the Borough of Mount Albert district scheme, as already operative, is under review, and the Council has recommended that the scheme, with the changes now incorporated therein, be approved.

The scheme as now recommended by the Council has been deposited in the Council offices, 615 New North Road, Morningside, Auckland, and is there open for inspection by all persons interested therein, without fee, at any time when the above place is open to the public.

Objections to the proposed changes of the district scheme, or in respect of any portion of the operative district scheme, which the Council proposes to confirm without any change, may be made by way of written notice in form E, prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, or to the like effect, marked “Objection to district scheme”, and lodged at the office of the Council, at any time not later than the 17th day of February 1967.

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection. Any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will then be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk, in writing, within a period of which public notice will be given.

COUNTY OF RODNEY

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Changes of the County of Rodney District Scheme Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the under-mentioned changes to the district scheme, under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, for the County of Rodney, were approved by the Council, by resolution passed at its meeting held on 17 November 1966.

The Council has also resolved that the aforesaid changes to the district scheme shall come into operation on 1 December 1966.

Copies of the scheme changes as approved have been deposited in the Council’s office, Warkworth, and in the Wellsford Public Library, and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Public Notification of Stratford County District Scheme
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Stratford County Council made on the 18th day of March 1966, a district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

The scheme relates to the following:

1. Midhurst County Town.
2. Extra urban section covering an area of approximately 3 mile radius around the Borough of Stratford.
3. Toko Township.
4. Balance of the Stratford County (entirely Rural Zoning).

The scheme has been deposited at the following places, viz.:
County Offices, Stratford
Municipal Library, Stratford Borough Council
District Land Registrar, New Plymouth

in accordance with section 22 (1) of the Act and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the scheme or to any part thereof shall be in writing in form E, prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than 27 February 1967.

At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objection if he notifies the County Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.

MOUNT HERBERT COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Mount Herbert County District Scheme Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme, under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, for the Mount Herbert County was approved by the Council, by resolution passed at its meeting held on the 21st day of October 1966, after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of, and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed, and all amendments of the district scheme required by the Board had been incorporated.

The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of December 1966.
