PURSUANT to section 36 of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, the following persons, at a meeting held at the Town Hall, Auckland, on 3 February 1966, were declared to be elected members of the Auckland Licensing Committee for the ensuing term, namely:

Eric Cameron Armishaw, Auckland City Council,
Arthur Gibbons, Waitemata County Council,
Leonard Jack Harley, One Tree Hill Borough Council, and
Norman Eric Taylor, Papatoetoe City Council.

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL

PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the Frankton-Kawarau Falls Water Supply Area within the County of Lake, taken on 29 January 1966, on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of £58,000 to be known as the Frankton-Kawarau Falls Water Supply Loan 1965 for the purpose of providing a water supply for the townships of Frankton and Kawarau Falls and their extensions resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was ..... 127
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 166
I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 1s. per line.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.

STATUTORY REGULATIONS

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing) subscription £3 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 50s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
