TAUMARUNUI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Airport Construction Loan 1965, £8,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Taumarunui Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £8,000 authorised to be raised by the Taumarunui
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of providing Taumarunui Borough Council’s share
of the cost of purchase of land and development costs of a
new aerodrome, the Taumarunui Borough Council hereby
makes a special rate of point one six four pence (-164d.) in the
pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the
unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of
Taumarunui; and that the special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of March in each and every year during
the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until
the loan is fully repaid.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of a resolution passed by the Taumarunui Borough Council at
a meeting held on Monday the 31st day of January 1966.

POVERTY BAY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Poverty
Bay Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of six thousand pounds (£6,000) authorised
to be raised by the Poverty Bay Electric Power Board under
the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of redeeming at
maturity the outstanding liability in respect of a portion
(£12,000) of the Extensions Loan (East Coast) 1953, of
£150,000, the Poverty Bay Electric Power Board hereby makes
and levies a special rate of one three hundred and fiftieth
of a penny (1/350d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on
the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in that
portion of the Poverty Bay Electric Power District as is con-
tained in the Cook County (including the Patutahi Town
District), Waikohu County, Waiapu County, and the City of
Gisborne; and that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be
payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every
year during the currency of such loan, being a period of
fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Middleton Riding Works Loan 1965, £11,600
The following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Waimairi County Council held on 27 January 1966:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Waimairi County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £11,600 authorised to be raised by the Waimairi
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of reconstructing and sealing Matipo and Princess
Streets within the Middleton Riding of the Waimairi County,
the Waimairi County Council hereby makes a special rate of
0·063893d. (pence) in the £ (pound) upon the rateable value
of all rateable property in the Middleton Riding; and that the
special rate shall be an annual-recurring charge during the
currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of
April in each year and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid
off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Bridges Redemption Loan 1966, £15,000
PURSUANT to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans
Act 1956, the Mackenzie County Council hereby resolves as
follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
the Bridges Redemption Loan 1966 authorised to be raised by
the Mackenzie County Council under the above-mentioned
Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of
the Bridges Loan 1955, £21,000 which matures on 1 April
1966, the said Mackenzie County Council hereby makes a
special rate of decimal 06595 pence in the pound upon the
capital value of all rateable property in the County of
Mackenzie; and that the special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable
half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October
in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being
a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Mackenzie County Council held on 4 February 1966.

SECURITY RATE

Water Supply Redemption Loan 1965, £17,900
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Waimairi County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £17,900 authorised to be raised by the Waimairi
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of repaying on maturity that portion of the Water Supply
Loan 1954, of £145,000 which matures on 1 March 1966, the
said Waimairi County Council hereby makes a special rate of
0·00741d. (pence) in the £ (pound) upon the rateable value
of all rateable property in the special rating area, comprising
the whole of the Avonhead, Belfast, Fendalton, Harewood,
Marshland, Papanui, Middleton, and Wairarapa Ridings of
the Waimairi County; and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be
payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
