Hauraki Development Scheme Amending Notice 1966, No. 5

WHEREAS by virtue of the notice described in the First Schedule hereto part of the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is now subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953:

And whereas by reason of a subsequent order of the Maori Land Court that part of the land is now known by the description shown in the Third Schedule hereto, and it is considered necessary to have the notice described in the First Schedule hereto revoked:

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. This notice may be cited as the Hauraki Development Scheme Amending Notice 1966, No. 5.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

  3. The land described in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Classification of Roads in Kiwitea County

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955*, the Commissioner of Transport hereby revokes so much of the Warrant dated the 28th day of November 1950† as relates to the classification of roads in Kiwitea County, described in the Schedule hereto, and hereby approves the Kiwitea County Council’s proposed classification of the said roads as set out in the said Schedule.

CHELTENHAM Road (also known as the Cheltenham - McKays Line Road) (from No. 54 State Highway (Mangaweka - Palmerston North via Kimbolton) at Cheltenham to its junction with No. 377 Main Road, a distance of 2 miles).

No. 377 Main Road (also known as the Feilding-Hunterville Road) (from its junction with Cheltenham Road to the County Boundary at the Rangitikei River, a distance of 17 miles).
