Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 2) 1966

Pursuant to regulation 16 of the Import Control Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Customs hereby gives notice as follows:

1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 2) 1966.
   (b) This notice shall be deemed to have come into force on 1 July 1966.
2. Goods of the class specified in the Schedule hereto, imported from and being the manufacture of any country, are hereby exempted from the requirements of a licence under the said regulations for the period 1 July 1966 to 30 June 1967.

Woven fabrics (other than pile or chenille fabric or fabrics assembled by sewing, gumming, or similar operation), containing in any proportion sheep’s or lambs’ wool or fine animal hair, and weighing not more than 5½ ounces per square yard, excluding:
(1) Flannel, nursery or baby.
(2) Fabrics packed in airtight containers, for example, sealed containers of man-made plastic film or of metal.

Declaration that Part of the Waitohi Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve, and Revocation of the Reservation Over the Said Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Waitohi Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve, subject to Part II of the said Act; and, further, revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the said reserve.
