BOROUGH OF BIRKENHEAD
Resolution Making Special Rate
Water Supply Extension Loan 1965, £50,000
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment and regulations thereunder, and of all powers thereunto enabling it, the Birkenhead Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of fifty thousand pounds (£50,000) to be known as the Water Supply Extension Loan 1965, £50,000, authorised to be raised by the Birkenhead Borough Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of meeting the cost of improving and extending the water reticulation, the said Birkenhead Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal point three three pence (.33d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value, on the basis of the unimproved value, of all rateable property in the Borough of Birkenhead; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable until the loan is fully paid off, but it is Council's intention to meet loan repayments from the waterworks account."
The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Birkenhead Borough Council held on 10 August 1966.

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE
Drainage Loan 1966, £46,000 ($92,000)
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of forty-six thousand pounds (£46,000) ($92,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of carrying out sewerage and stormwater drainage works, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two hundred and twenty-nine thousandths of a penny (.229d.) in the pound (£) (.115 cents in the dollar) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all the rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be incorporated and added to the consolidated special rate, made pursuant to the provisions of section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and be payable yearly, on or about the 1st day of August, in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until such time as the loan is paid off."

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Bulk Water Supply (Te Puke Rural) Loan 1966, £31,500, authorised to be raised by the Tauranga County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing an adequate water supply to rural properties in the Te Puke Riding, the said Tauranga County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one four pence (.14d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Tauranga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Tauranga County Council held on the 5th day of September 1966.

WAIPARA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Water Supply No. 1 Loan of £50,000, 1966
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waipara County Council hereby resolves:
"That, for the purpose of providing annual loan charges on a loan of £50,000, to be known as the Rural Water Supply No. 1 Loan, 1966, of £50,000, authorised to be raised by the Waipara County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting part of the costs of constructing works to provide a rural water supply in the Scargill-Motunau and adjacent districts of the Waipara County, and incidental expenses in connection therewith, the said Waipara County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point one (.1d.) of a penny in the pound on the capital value of all rateable property in the Waipara County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

WHAKATANE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Electricity Loan 1965, £35,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Whakatane Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of thirty-five thousand pounds (£35,000), authorised to be raised by the Whakatane Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of converting distribution lines and substations to 11 kV providing for increased capacity and purchasing auxiliary equipment, the said Whakatane Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point three five pence (.35d.) in the pound upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property over the whole of the Borough of Whakatane; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the said loan is fully paid off."

PAPATOETOE CITY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, Regulation 32 (8), notice is hereby given that the Papatoetoe Cosmopolitan Club, having applied under section 35 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for a specified departure from the provisions of the Papatoetoe City Council operative district scheme and having met the requirements of the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and having regard to the fact that the Papatoetoe City Council supported the application, and the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board has consented to a specified departure from the provisions of the Papatoetoe City Council’s operative district scheme by permitting the applicant to use that piece of land containing 1 rood 4·4 perches, more or less, being Lot 20, Block 4, on Deposited Plan 8911, part Allotment 37 of the Parish of Manurewa, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in the certificate of title, Volume 652, folio 161, North Auckland Registry, to permit the establishment of a non-residential club on land presently zoned residential “A”, subject to the following conditions:
- That the proposal be constructed substantially in accordance with the plans and as described in the Papatoetoe Cosmopolitan Club’s letter dated 15 February 1965.
