RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan No. 1, 1966—£27,200
"WHEREAS the sum of £30,000, borrowed by the Waitemata
County Council under the Green Bay Sewerage and Storm-
water Loan 1960, £73,100, is due and payable on the 15th
day of October 1966, and whereas the amount repaid in
respect of the said loan amounts to only £2,800, and the
sum of £27,200 is required to pay for the said loan, the
Waitemata County Council, in exercise of the powers vested
in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956, hereby resolves:

"1. To borrow the sum of £27,200 for the purpose of repay-
ing the said loan;

"2. That the sum of £27,200 shall be payable on the
15th day of October 1991, or such earlier date as may be
determined by Council;

"3. That, for the purpose of providing interest, principal
and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 1, 1966—
£27,200, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of 0·91 pence in the pound on the rateable unimproved
value of all rateable property within the Green Bay County
Town; and that such special rate shall be an annually re-
curring rate through the currency of the loan, and pay-
able yearly on the 1st day of June each year during the
currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until
the loan is fully paid off."

Southern Area Water Supply Supplementary Loan 1966, £450
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Otoro-
hanga County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of four hundred and fifty pounds (£450), autho-
rised to be raised by the Otorohanga County Council under
the above-mentioned Act for completing the purpose for
which the Southern Area Water Supply Loan 1961, of
£4,500, was authorised, the said Otorohanga County Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-eighths pence

in the pound on the unimproved rateable value of all rate-
able property in the southern area water supply special
rating district of the County of Otorohanga; and that such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until
the loan is fully paid off."

Extensions Renewal Loan 1966
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Otago Central Electric Power Board resolves as follows:
"That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges
on a loan of twenty thousand pounds (£20,000), authorised
to be raised by the Otago Central Electric Power Board
under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying
on maturity portion of the Extensions Loan 1956 of fifty
thousand pounds (£50,000), which matures on 5 October
1966, the said Otago Central Electric Power Board makes
a special rate of 0·025 of a penny in the pound on the
capital value of the rateable property in the whole of the
Board's district of supply; and that the special rate shall
be payable annually, on the 1st day of April in each and
every year during the currency of the loan, being a period
of ten years (10), or until the loan is fully paid off."
