Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be
Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being provisional State forest reserve set apart by Proclamation dated the 7th day of October 1930, and published in Gazette, 9 October 1930, Volume III, page 3123, is required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act such land shall, from and after the day of gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT—INANGAHUA COUNTY—NELSON CONSERVANCY
ALL that area of Provisional State Forest in the Nelson Land District containing 110 acres, more or less, situated in Block VI, Reefton Survey District. Formerly held under warden’s grants Nos. 5227 and 5707, and bounded on all sides by Crown land.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 26th day of August 1966.

Declaring Land in Nelson Land District, Vested in the Nelson Education Board as a Site for a Public School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Nelson Education Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

SECTION 38, Block II, Kawatiri Survey District: Area, 2 acres (subsequently surveyed as 3 acres), more or less. S.O. Plan 5705.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water power (Islington-Papanui transmission line).

PURSUANT to section 207 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Brigadier Sir Bernard Edward Fergusson, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the course of the Kumeu River shall be altered or diverted within the areas of land described in the Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 5th day of September 1966.
