FRIENDLY SOCIETIES ACT 1909

ADVERTISMENT OF CANCELLING

Notice is hereby given that the Deputy Registrar of Friendly Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies Act 1909, by writing under his hand dated this 23rd day of August 1966, cancelled the registry of Star of Cambridge Tent No. 8, of the New Zealand District No. 84 of the Independent Order of Rechabites Friendly Society, Salford Unity (Register No. 190/18), on the ground that the said branch has ceased to exist.

BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL

Pursuant to section 13 (2) of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the County of Bay of Islands, taken on 12 August 1966, on the proposal of the Bay of Islands County Council to raise a loan of £35,000 for the purpose of erecting new council chambers at Kawakawa, resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 1,099 The number of votes recorded against the proposal was ... 526 The number of informal votes was ....... 6

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

WAIHEKE ROAD BOARD

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL

Pursuant to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the Waiheke Road District, taken on the 13th day of August 1966, on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of £80,000, to be known as the Waiheke Development Loan 1966, for the purposes described in two parts as under:

Part I-Meeting the cost of the first stage of a wharf at Kennedy's Point (£27,000).

Part II-Meeting the cost of footpaths and roadworks, street lighting, Orapiu wharf repairs, public conveniences at Onetangi, and depot facilities (£53,000)

resulted as follows:

PART I (£27,000)

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was ..... 532 The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 465

PART II (£53,000)

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was ..... 784 The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 203 The number of informal votes was ......... 8

I therefore declare that both parts of the proposal were carried.

The price of each Gazette varies and is printed thereon. The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the day preceding publication.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 1s. per line. The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.

STATUTORY REGULATIONS

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:

(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing) subscription £3 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, 50s. per volume. (Volumes for years 1936-37 and 1939-42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon.
