Approval of Red Reflectors for Motor Vehicles in Terms of the Traffic Regulations 1956


PURSUANT to regulations 41 and 63 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Commissioner of Transport hereby approves, for the purposes of the said regulations, red reflectors of the make and type described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE

RED reflectors manufactured by Rupert Manufacturing Co., Missouri, the lens being marked “Stratolite 608–A S.A.E.–A” and having a diameter of approximately 3¾ inches.

Describing the Boundaries of the Hokitika Abattoir District and Specifying the Controlling Authority of the said District (No. Ag. 8331)


PURSUANT to the Meat Act 1964 and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture for the purpose of the said Act, notice is hereby given as follows:

  1. The Hokitika Abattoir District shall henceforth comprise all that area in the Westland Land District bounded on the north by the Arahura River from its source to the Tasman Sea; on the south by the Mikonui River from its source to the Tasman Sea; on the west by the Tasman Sea; and on the east by the dividing line between Canterbury and Westland, including the interior Boroughs of Hokitika and Ross.

  2. The Hokitika Borough shall continue to be the controlling authority of the abattoir.

PURSUANT to section 26 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Secretary for Internal Affairs hereby defines, as set out in the Schedules hereto, the boundaries of the County of Waitotara, the County of Wanganui, the City of Wanganui, the Brunswick-Westmere Riding of the County of Waitotara, and the Kaitoke Riding of the County of Wanganui, the previous boundaries having been altered by Orders in Council made on 18 November 1963 and 23 March 1964 and published in Gazettes, 21 November 1963 and 2 April 1964, respectively.
