NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Raglan County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the portions of land described in the First Schedule hereto; to take for the use, convenience and enjoyment of a road the portions of land described in the Second Schedule hereto; and to stop the portions of road described in the Third Schedule hereto.

A plan of the portions of land proposed to be taken and of the portions of road proposed to be stopped is open for public inspection at the offices of the Raglan County Council, Great South Road, Ngaruawahia, during 40 days from the date of the first publication of this notice. All persons objecting to the proposal must lodge their objections in writing at the offices of the Council on or before the 25th day of September 1966.

RODNEY COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and Amendments and the Counties Act 1956 and Amendments, notice is hereby given that the Rodney County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain work, namely, the construction and formation of a road passing through or adjoining the parcels of land referred to in the Schedule hereunder, and situated at State Highway No. 16 in the Kaipara Riding of the County of Rodney and for the purposes of such work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that plans of the lands so required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the clerk of the said Council, situated in the Council Chambers, Baxter Street, Warkworth, and are open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

Every person affected by the proposal shall set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of the work or to the taking of the land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and shall send such written objection within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioners' Flats Loan No. 4, 1966

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Northcote Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £4,750, authorised to be raised by the Northcote Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting accommodation for old people, the said Northcote Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·024d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Northcote, comprising the whole of the Borough of Northcote; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 7th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 40 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

NORTHCOTE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Borough Yard and Buildings Loan 1966

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Northcote Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £10,000, authorised to be raised by the Northcote Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing a borough yard and erecting a workshop building and amenities block, the said Northcote Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0·074d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Northcote, comprising the whole of the Borough of Northcote; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 7th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, and all other powers and authorities it enabling, the Rangitikei Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £7,000, being the second part of the Porewa Valley Control Scheme Loan 1964, £35,000, authorised to be raised by the Rangitikei Catchment Board for the carrying out of the Porewa Valley control scheme, to make and levy a special rate on a graduated scale, according to the Porewa Valley control scheme classification list of the said area, as follows:
