Omit: paragraph 3 (Handling Charges) and substitute:

  1. Handling Charges—Those classes of goods for which a loading or unloading charge is prescribed in the General Scale of Charges forwarded from or received at any “station”, Renwick to Nelson inclusive, are to be charged one handling charge in respect of that station. A charge of 9s. 6d. per four-wheeled wagon and 19s. per bogie wagon will be made for livestock. Handling charges at Blenheim are NOT to be applied in respect of through goods transhipped from rail to road or vice versa at Blenheim.

Owner’s risk £1 5s. per ton, including sorting at Christchurch. The charges will be computed in accordance with section 127, General Scale of Charges. From Christchurch to destination the charges will be computed on actual weight at the appropriate rate. Small lots will be charged as follows:
